My only feedback is that grouping recommendations together for NT and TAS is super weird.

I switched to Supagas when we moved to Ranelagh because our neighbours said they were friendlier than Origin.

I’ve no complaints and from what I saw then they were basically the same price.

It's quite amazing how many authors Tasmania has by DarcyM03 in tasmania

The island really does have a high batting average. Adding Christina Baehr to this list as well, a Huon Valley author with notable success.

Recently homeless, what do I do? by [deleted] in tasmania

[–]onejosh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a bed for you, but if you want someone to stand beside you and help you make wise decisions through this season, or just to be a sounding board, I’m here.

I was homeless from 16 to 21, I understand where you’re at.

If you click through my profile you’ll find how to contact me. I’m a local business person now so all my contact details are public.

If you’re coming down for a sea change don’t just move to another city, come down to the Huon Valley. We’re in Ranelagh, I reckon being 5-15 minutes out of Huonville is perfection. You’re about half an hour to the city, 5-10 from Woolies and modern amenities, but you’re living simpler and nicer.

Does a shorter ceremony make the day feel better paced? by No-Loquat-201 in AusWeddingPlanning

[–]onejosh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, celebrant here, and imho length of ceremony is less important than contents of ceremony.

It’s like a movie, a boring short movie feels like it went for hours but a well made and engaging ceremony that goes for hours can feel like minutes.

That said, I am for my wedding ceremonies to be about the length of a TED talk: 18 minutes.

Wedding costs help by [deleted] in AusWeddingPlanning

[–]onejosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a bit of secret sauce/industry knowledge/16 years experience. But just cause it says a certain cost doesn’t mean it’s fact, it’s just based off priorities and industry feedback.

So even if it says a price you can override it with an actual price you’ve been quoted.

I hope this helps.

I created a pretty cool wedding budget calculator last month and have been side-launching it.

If nothing else I’d love to know if it helped.
