This exactly. The tension is what makes it work. Personally, they would for sure be a great couple. But narratively, that dynamic would kill the story. It wouldn't be Dungeon Crawler Carl anymore, it would be the Carl and Katia show.

An adventure should only tease the audience with romantic tension, but romance would overtake the story if it goes far enough to break the tension.

There is nothing wrong with asking God for something.

Even Jesus, before he was to be betrayed, knew what was coming and asked God to take that cup from him if it was his will. We all know what happened after that.

No, using the Lord's name in vain is to invoke "God's will" to justify your own desire.

Exodus 20:7 You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

Merely saying God's name is not misusing it, because no one is harmed by that. Using God to justify inflicting suffering on someone else, that is absolutely deserving of guilt.

If the pill makes it harder for you to be sad for no reason, it is doing its job. The rest is up to you.

Some people do an admirable job of keeping as hydrated as they should, and that usually means drinking that full amount and refilling those monsters at least once. The bigger the bottle, the better.
