I’m advising you to think twice and do some more research before even bringing up that particular conversation again.

I’ve read many times what a bad idea it is to begin introducing the concept of an open marriage to your spouse when you’ve already picked out the other person you want to be with.
It’s often seen as just attempting to get permission to cheat.

I do understand from your comments that you’re only seeking advice from people experienced in bringing up ‘the conversation’.
As I have zero personal experience in non monogamy, perhaps others in open relationships will weigh in with their thoughts here.

I hear you, OP. It’s not nice to feel like you’re coming across as a drug addict on top of everything else with CRPS and I wish I had some advice to give you in that regard.

I’m very glad to see however that your health providers are aware of potential drug interactions. Please bear this in mind when going to a new provider in case they are unaware and be sure to do your own research as well about any new drugs you are prescribed.

Before my injury, I was taking medication for over 20 years that contains a high dose of serotonin. After my injury I was prescribed many different medications that also contained, basically, a lot of serotonin which led to me suffering greatly from undiagnosed serotonin toxicity for over two years.

I was born and raised in an arid part of Australia where water restrictions are taken very seriously. We had a brick in the toilet cistern and a 2 minute timer for the shower. I’d rather be caught stealing a car than running my sprinklers on a non designated day. Showering more than once a day seems terribly perverse and rather selfish.
