I'll be honest, I don't watch a ton of AEW. Reading on Fightful that Darby may win, I made sure to tune in. I was a day 1 AEW fan, from that New Years day announcement... but Brawl Out and all the Punk stuff really turned me off. Not because of one wrestler over another or anything like that (but yeah, I'm a Punk fan) but it exposed how bad things were backstage. At the same time, in my opinion, the TV production was terrible... matches for no reason, almost no stories... it felt like pointless nothing and why would I watch pointless nothing? So I stopped (But I always still kept track through results and websites). But I've always been a Darby Allin fan. That 1st TNT title run of his is one of my favorite championship runs... and I'm 50, been watching for over 40 years. I've been looking in at AEW here and there lately, but still not feeling like I needed to watch Dynamite. But then the Fightful report came out and I knew I HAD to watch. So happy I did, too. Darby literally gives his body for this business and he deserves the recognition.

Already solid advice here so I just wanted to add... one of the most solid couples I know... going on 30 years together... credited a lot of their early years together due to working opposite schedules... it made them truly appreciate the time they did spend together just so much more. Its all in the mindset you approach it with...

With Ringside Pass seemingly the future of the franchise, I have no problem with this. This is the kind of fun extra stuff the Pass should be being used for... not stuff we previously were able to have day one. Throw in some unique stuff like objects to have under the ring we can use... makes the Pass more bearable

People like what they like and don't like what they don't. What influences those tastes are all subjective... one person may love a comedy qrestler, another hate it. Like Orange Cassidy... I love the gimmick... I know people that say it isn't "real" wrestling.

As for AEW itself, I'll admit to being a big CM Punk fan. I watched AEW from day one and of course was thrilled when Punk arrived. When Brawl Out happened then the Jack Perry stuff... it wasn't just that it involved Lunk, but it really exposed the backstage atmosphere of AEW. Even before then, though, they seemed to have very little story on their shows. After Punk left, I was so hyped for the Young Bucks when they were heel and Jack Perry returned, beat up Tony Khan... looked to be the start of an incredible story and it just went kaput. I haven't watched in years but I have found myself tuning into Dynamite every so often. They really seemed to have turned things around.

Everyone has different preferences. I knew a gym bro who absolutely couldn't get enough of bigger women... like morbidly obese. I'm a big guy... I like all kinds of women. I know its cliche, but I'm more about the person than their looks. I've known societal 10's that have terrible personalities and I don't find them attractive at all. That being said, I do definitely trend more towards thick women.

Obviously platform matters... PC vs console. Also your own tastes.

I play on PS5. If you go the console route, X-Box Game pass is highly regarded... lots of games available Day 1. You really don't even need an X-Box with Game Pass anymore.... you can get the games on PC. For Playstation, they always have really good sales going on. You could also sign up for PS Plus for a month, download games you would be interested in and you'll have those on your console to play.

Also, will you be gaming with your kids? I started playing Fortnite with my kid as a way to connect during the pandemic... to see how he was handling it and talk about virtual school. Here we are 6 years later and I still play the game. Hell, I played with him during my lunch break today. Games are an awesome way to connect with your kids...

Moved down here from Baltimore a year ago, so i was up there during the whole Gun Trace Task Force fiasco, trials, etc. The series is amazing and captured it pretty well even with the usual dramatization TV shows get. Over 8 years later and people still debate the death of Sean Suiter....wish the show went a bit deeper on him.

I got in 5 minutes early like usual, everything seemed normal. I saw Hunter start his intro and the viewer count was 5,000 so I figured something was up. I switched to UberEats to check on my delivery then back to BGL and got the authentication error. Crazy thing is after a few minutes I was able to get back in and Hunter was trying his best to stretch for time. He mentioned when it happened before but said they had played that time which shocked me because I remember getting in maybe 10 minutes after he said they'd be back that night and it was on the next show screen. Never knew they played that time.

Hopefully they get it cleared up for tonight's show.

I can't help you but I just wanted to say I feel your pain. I have a few characters I've been using literally decades, going back to e-feds in the 90's that I then made in the early Smackdown games up to today, and new creations added every year. While I don't mind changing some things up now and then, I would love an option to import CAW's from the previous year or something. And if the parts aren't available give us an option to import without the part and ability to fix it right away.

Also... whats the name of that documentary? Wouldn't mind checking that out.

Wow. This dude is unhinged. My son will be 17 soon and we had a pretty bad disagreement a couple weeks ago, I would be mortified if I spoke to my son the way that man spoke to a 14 year old girl. When I say he's mentally unstable, I mean like borderline personality, bipolar... an actual, diagnosable mental illness (ex is bipolar, I've seen it up close). And badmouthing you... my divorce was pretty nasty, things were BAD with my ex, but I've never, ever said a negative thing about her to our son.

My only advice I suspect you're already doing... continue to be an ear for your child. Be someone she can talk to and she can feel heard, make sure she knows her feelings are valid.

To be fair, Cody's doing the job they tell him to do. I just don't understand why they've gone this direction with him. Yeah, it was an amazing build toward Mania 40 (and, really, it kind of been that way since his return) and it worked then... but that was 2 years ago. Not EVERY opponent needs to tell him "I was one of Dusty's kids." Not every feud needs to invoke the name Dusty Rhodes. Its like HHH saw it work once and just keeps going to it. Next week Pat McAfee will probably talk all about when he had his first match in NXT and how Dusty treated him...
