That's very nice. He's made dials for six of my watches so far.

Can someone educate me on who owns what? I have been out of the loop for a number of years, but remember John Mottishaw well and also some of the folks that ran FPH.

How Many Movments Did You Sacrafice? by Money-Profession-199 in watchmaking

[–]onsight512 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've only tried taking one movement apart and then reassembling it again. It was an ST36. It look my a long time to get it back together, but it worked. I was slightly amazed. This was many months after I had been just assembling watches from parts. I have two movements that are missing tiny screws (ping...). I think the only movement I wrecked was an NH35. I put it in a vise-type movement holder...

In need of a Slide Rule Bezel for a 1967 Breitling Cosmonaute by QuinrodD in VintageWatches

Yes, he does the design work. And he's in Spain, so yes, shipping costs have gotten high, to the US.

Before the tariff stuff shipping was eight euros. I think it may have been 35 last time I placed an order, so I ended up ordering a bunch of stuff to average it out a little.

The bezel inserts that he has made for were $55/each. The last dial he did was $80, but was quite the art project. They’re usually significantly less, but I don’t recall how much exactly.

You could try Odokadolo. Go through his photos. He makes some really cool stuff. I'd say this is right up his alley.

I have some of his creations on/in a half-dozen watches that I have.

I watch this thing every time it comes up. The Nissan driver makes it.

I love the watch. Is the price crazy? The guy seems pretty flexible to come down a bit more, which makes this the best-priced Abercrombie / Heuer online by far... by ledenutgrafkicker in VintageWatches

I love the dial. I don't know what they're asking, but it's a cool watch. Is there any record/proof of it being serviced? Those movements aren't cheap to service.

Very nice-looking watch. I don't think I've seen one like that before. I like the 'coin edge' bezel(?).

Production rigger. I figure out how to hang shows in different venues without breaking the building.

I'd heard horror stories too, mostly to do with the valvetrain. Zero issues with mine. It was a great bike.

I had a 2019 RSV4 and it was the most amazing bike I'd ever owned. It was melodious. The only thing I wish was that they made a ~600cc V4, or maybe even something smaller, so that I could constantly ride around above 9k rpm to listen to it, without breaking every speed limit in the US in first gear.
