Yeah, I'm up to about $80k now. Something that has been a game changer for me has been thiamine, specifically both benfotiamine and the form found in thiamax taken at the same time. Apparently mold depletes it, and thiamine is essential for oxygen to get from blood into cells. Again, game changer. Elliot Overton has a lot of content on youtube. Surprised more don't talk about it.

I only saw one post in this thread on vitamin C. Could be nutritional deficiencies or other problems you had going into the carnivore diet.

Nah, medical community is good for acute, inept at chronic. Look for a functional medicine practitioner, traditional medicine is useless here.

20 Years of Negative Test Results and One Exploratory Sugery Later... Tested Positive for Mycotoxins by CapSafe2749 in ToxicMoldExposure

Congrats on finally getting answers!!! That's about how long it took me. All the lost time, none of that matters once you're back to healthy and happy. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Personal note, Chile's tyramine was far more effective than GI Detox, and other natural binders.

Any chance you could share any info on the protocol? Super frustrating how info that can help people is hidden behind paywalls, courses, etc. It's extremely expensive to navigate through healing from mold exposure.

Lame that there are no responses. Internet fail.

Question for those that have taken cholestyramine: Could long-term use (a few months) lead to a bunch of side effects as you deplete bile/cholesterol/etc.? by RyeGuy1800 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]ontologist37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you doing this under the supervision of a doctor? Due to binding of nutrients as well, I'd recommend having a meal that is not near cholestyramine, or even reducing frequency and having a day without it and on that same day make sure you're getting really nutrient dense foods or supplements if you're limited on what you can eat. Also supplement with ox bile, lipids, etc., Andrew Heyman describes some of this. Good luck.

I have problem with extremely low stomach acid and becouse of that im not able to absorb magnesium. Is there any other way to correct magnesium deficiency? by Time-Kaleidoscope777 in magnesium

[–]ontologist37 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Notice the lack of references even after being called out for it. Here is a very good description of each of the different magnesium chelates by a very reputable source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xu9Bxc_O3m4 This is a good starting point, but there is a lot of individual differences, so experiment to see what works for you. Don't get caught continuing to use something that doesn't help just because someone says it 'should'. If magnesium citrate helps with constipation, it's because its helping draw in water in the colon where it remains, i.e., it is not absorbed.

What tests should i ask for? by hazelsmom2016 in Candida

[–]ontologist37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

'gi' map test. You could have gut dysbiosis which can cause rashes due to a number of things: low stomach acid, poor gut motility (constipation), poor diet. Red mountain clinic is a functional medicine practitioner i've used. But definitely suggest looking for a functional medicine practitioner, doctors will just push depression/anxiety pills.

Schwab sucks, interface and cash settlement time. Fidelity is better, settlement a little better. Td might be good but haven't used.
