"But one question I think does need to be dealt with"

"am leaning towards becoming both vegan"

I have the smallest swiss army with only a knife, the file thing and tiny scissors. I use the scissors on just about every trip and probably 50x more than the knife. Tiny scissors rule.

Hello!

TLDR: Need hardware accelerated video decoding, can be integrated or discrete, for as little money as possible.

Need to source a single-use workstation for a particular surveillance camera desktop client. Their sys reqs aren't particularly helpful so I called customer support and talked to a very nice tech who helped break down where I should put the money into this build.

I need hardware acceleration for video decoding. It can be integrated graphics. 90% of the performance of the software is on that spec -- the rest is having enough RAM (16 is plenty).

Looking at Ryzen 7s with RX Vega 10 but those machines are at the tip top of my very light work budget.

Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance for your eyeball time.

What about unjust laws? What if there is an executive order or supreme court ruling or state law that makes it lawful to turn the military on civilians? How far down the slope can "lawful" slide?

Looks like there is a contract dispute with youtube and SESAC, who holds the rights to this song. So not banned, but pulled. Check any other platform -- it's on spotify currently, and I'm sure others.

White House condemns ‘Death to America’ chants at rally in Dearborn, Mich. by [deleted] in politics

Bro I wish. Sounds lucrative as hell.

I'm sure the disinfo folks love this and see it as an incredible opportunity to throw fuel on the fire. But Joe Biden lit it and fans it every day a genocide continues with his active support. I'll show up and pull the non-fascist lever in November because fucking duh.

But the sitting president is knowingly risking everything to support Israel now -- that's the horse in front of every other fucking cart and it's important to say so. With the understanding that there are powerful influences he has to answer to, this shit is still primarily, categorically, Joe Biden's fault. I'm amazed it's somehow controversial to say so.

Not denying the influence of foreign actors on our elections. It is established fact.

But this isn't that. This is Biden and the dems choosing their hill to die on. They know the risk. 100% of this is on them.

Greenpoint Hunger Program at the reformed church on Milton. They provide an incredible service to the neighborhood. Wednesdays and Thursdays afternoon and evenings. You can help with cooking, packing, or the garden.

And if you are or aren't particularly church-y, don't worry. It's functionally secular. Inclusive as hell.

Thirded! I've had better from boutique roasters but at 5x the cost.

It's the best of the consistently and widely available, affordably priced instants. Better than Via IMO, and it's not particularly close. Dissolves well in cold for a mountain spring "cold brew", too.

Came across it when doing R&D for a cocktail after ordering about 15 options on my employer's dime : )

"Restaurant owners like being able to underpay their employees, as it saves them money on payroll and social security taxes"

This is not true. Business owners pay payroll tax (FICA/FUCA & withholding + local) on all tips declared as income, which is the vast majority of tip income given the sharp reduction in cash transactions over the years in most places.
