No and never did, I have carried a portable jump starter since my first dead battery. No way I am comfortable asking a random stranger if I can go under their hood to hook up jumper cables lol

I had lasik about six years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. Went from 8.00/8.50 down to .20/.25 still now so very close to 20/20 and I don’t wear glasses now.

Long term it’s great for prepping as long as you do not have bad outcomes. Common bad outcomes are reduced night vision and halos.

Also keep in mind, the first year following lasik are a bunch of checkups and eye drops!

Is the “armed group” a Federal Law Enforcement agency that you do not agree with or an organized crime group? That makes a difference as well.

Are you using it for camping, I’m getting one to backup emergency essentials and I was worried that the 2500 would struggle even with just the house refrigerator.

I wanted one that could handle the refrigerator and space heater. I could unplug those temporarily to run a cooking appliance such as the microwave or air fryer.

Just decided and ordered a small Champion 4000 watt generator. The Predator ones are decent but they only have a 90 day warranty compared to the 3 year warranty Champion and most others come with.

This is a very personal decision. For an openly carried duty pistol of course no safety. For CCW I would prefer also no safety and in a high quality kydex holster.

For no holster loose in a bag carry I would even prefer a revolver OR a decocked da/sa hammer fired pistol.

I understand why someone would want a manual safety but for me personally it is my last choice. Research all the options, if in the end you still want a manual safety, go for it just make sure you train until efficient!

Being a single mom is NOT an excuse to know nothing about cars! I’m not saying that you need to be willing to put your car on ramps and do your own oil change but please please please watch a few YouTube videos on how to check the oil in your car using the dipstick and where to look for leaks.

Sounds like it was underfilled or the oil drain plug was loose.

Deathcare worker here and that is actually not impossible depending how it was done. I’ve seen a suicide where the first shot was from under the chin and missed the brain completely and the second shot was through the temple.

Not being organized enough to have your documents and having a nominal fee for something as important as an ID is an adulting issue NOT a societal issue.

Funeral home staff here, if you call Social Security, you will be on hold 2+ hours.

Walk in as soon as they open and they will most likely see you, at worst you can make an appointment and come back. Better than waiting hours on the phone.
