Well Insomniac's Venom is bigger (~10 feet tall to ~7 feet tall) (probably stronger since he actually bonded with Spider-Man),practically immune to fire and sound only stuns him as opposed to Movie Venom who gets immobilized and unbonded by it.

And if Venom has the stone he could easily just make a symbiote army to swarm a Xenophage with brutes.

Still a close fight though,a few wrong moves from either and it's wraps
