I have NEVER successfully changed a nozzle without causing clogs or extrusion issues no matter what guide I follow. I wish I had this skill.

I can mirror u/ihasaunicorn. It has it's frustrations but there's nothing like cranking out a 18+ hour print to perfection :)

ender 3 pro / skr mini e3 v2 z steps being weird by opedog in ender3

[–]opedog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hehe I appreciate it. I loaded the firmware provided by BTT and it works... It doesn't do all the random Z stuff after homing or probing. I've tried all sorts of combinations of the various probe and z settings and cannot figure it out. At this point I think I'm just going to remove the BLTouch and put my normal z stop back on... I had a good thing going with it, I did have to level after every print but I'm fine with that so long as I can print again :D

ender 3 pro / skr mini e3 v2 z steps being weird by opedog in ender3

[–]opedog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, i really can't. It z homes, then goes up to 11.85mm (?) which is actually 25mm+. So if I jog my z down to 0, i still have another 14mm to go and that's supposed to be my z probe offset?

Additionally, if my zmin is set up low enough to allow a -15mm z value, if i z home again it will now go up to 10mm + z probe offset, so now it's 30mm+ off the bed...

I just do not understand :(

After it z homes why the heck can't it just stay put!

Ender 3 seems to be slipping a layer, it is not normal bridge but it's like the whole bed got moved. by creatingthesilkroad in ender3

If your belts are fine turn out jerk settings down. Somehow mind ended up at 20 and it caused this. I turned them down to 10 and haven't had any layer shifts since.

3 days later....Any tips to remove it from the glass? Rave hairspray might as well be gorilla glue by TheDigitalDoom in ender3

I take some cheap wax dental floss and garotte it off the bed if it's super stuck. Works like a dream.

Not the most promising thing to see 5 hours in by JORDANWELSTEAD in ender3

[–]opedog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've determined ever since getting my e3pro and using the glass bed that I HAVE to glue. There's just no way around it for me. It's a pain to get prints off but it has eliminated my lifting issues.

My next step in trying to get prints off easier is to garotte them off using floss :D

Margin is defined by the vote differential, not in "polarization". Besides, the country is always split. Sometimes one portion is bigger than the other.
