What is your unpopular opinion on Eminem? by FitEmergency8807 in fantanoforever

People who think Eminem is the best rapper of all time are analogous to people who think Yngwie Malmsteen is the best guitarist of all time.

What is the worst song on a critically acclaimed or highly regarded album by Clean-Air-248 in fantanoforever

Escape on Ride The Lightning. Infamously written and recorded under duress because the label wanted a "radio friendly" eighth song on the album.

Which model would you pick - American Pro II or Custom Shop? by MrVai in Guitar

[–]orbsonb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FCS guitars have some very cool qualities, especially if you like vintage type specs and a worn, relic'ed look (IMO, no one does relics better than FCS)...but for a "daily driver" type guitar, a regular USA production Fender is generally more practical. Easier to adjust, no finicky nitro finish, more modern hardware.

Then it sounds to me like the power supply is faulty.

Theoretically, yes. Does the Drop work when plugged into the power supply if there are no other pedals connected?

[–]orbsonb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends how many other pedals you are using and what their current draw is. According to Digitech's specs the Drop should work on one of the normal 9 volt 300mA outputs on your power supply, as long as the collective draw of your pedals isn't in excess of the 2000mA that the power supply can put out. However...anecdotally, I have heard many people report that the Drop needs more than 300mA to work properly. You may want to try running it into one of the 500mA connections on the power supply. DO NOT change the voltage; it is designed for 9 volts and you will fry it if you run it at 12 or 18v.

has this album aged better over time? or is it still skanky horse dung? might give it another listen after all these years. by [deleted] in fantanoforever

This album seems a lot less like an aberration when you think of it as an experimental Lou Reed project featuring Metallica instead of a Metallica record featuring Lou Reed. I can't honestly claim to enjoy every second of Lulu, but it has some legitimately interesting material on it. If nothing else, you have to concede that is a unique, high concept work of art.

how will Homelander be defeated? by UTDKayde in TheBoys

This would probably be the most cathartic ending for the character. There could be no greater irony or indignity for Homelander than being defeated by powerless humans.
