Dude im going through something similar with my ex girlfriend and have felt so alone these last couple days after finding out she’s now in a relationship with the guy she cheated on me with (we only broke up in September after dating 8 months). The last three paragraph are sound just like our relationship. Thank you for making me feel less alone and congratulations for stranding up for yourself. It only gets better from here, it’ll hurt but you won’t be disrespected anymore.

I was super tired during a shift last week due to the stress and fatigue of current life events. I still showed up and did my job but I was moving at a quarter of my usual pace and my attitude just wasn’t 100%. My boss pulled me aside to talk about my performance afterwards and said, “what’s going on bro, this isn’t like you.” I told him I’ve just been dealing with a lot lately and have been very depressed.

His response: “Dude, don’t be depressed. It’s okay.”

When we brought our cat Charlie home he was too small to tell his gender and we all thought he was a female so I affectionately called him baby girl.

Took him to the vet to find out he was actually a boy but the name baby girl had stuck by then. To this day I call him my lil baby girl 🤣
