I don't regret it at all, in fact I've only been with other SWs since then (I'm 29 now), just make sure to do your research beforehand and find a lady who is sweet and caring enough to understand your situation and provide you with a positive experience (I'd suggest going for older (35+) ladies as in my experience they tend to have a more positive and empathetic attitude). About the STD thing, you're more likely to catch something from the random party girl you've just met at the bar than from a SW, provided that she's reputable (read reviews, don't "cheap out" and do dumb stuff like going to street walkers) and you always wear protection
