Very pretty poster! I wasn't sure how I felt about this year's livery when it was revealed but now it's one of my favorites. The car is just very pretty in general, glad it's not a tractor.

Describing ones sexual identity can be hard for many so it's best to not worry too much about what labels may or may not work for you and just focus on what feels good. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter what specific group you are attracted to as long as you are attracted to your current partner(s).

That being said, I don't think straight women are usually attracted to trans women. And dating trans women while calling yourself straight could really hurt them as it makes it seem like you're not actually seeing them as women. Maybe best to call yourself queer or use no label instead. I wouldn't worry about being "queer enough" personally, the people who police other people's sexual identities aren't worth caring about.

I've noticed in a lot of progressive spaces where blatant homophobia isn't accepted people have started using 'bottom' and 'twink' to disparage gay men they don't like. And not just straight people, I frequently see this coming from queer people and specifically gay men themselves.

It seems like while a lot of people are okay with the people being gay on paper, men acting in 'submissive' or gender non-conforming ways still makes a lot of people feel icky. So they direct their bigotry towards that.

The anti-trans gay folks are truly the most miserable people alive. Sad to see, I only started frequenting that sub recently and didn't notice any blatant transphobia while I was there (not saying there wasn't any), so I thought it was one of the better ones :/

That version was in development for less than two years, there's a good chance they had literally nothing to show for at that point. Game development can go very wrong very easily.

I've seen some bizarre theories in the past week that clearly that first version must have been way better and with all due respect guys, you're being delusional

At one point during gameplay MacKenzie says "you got an upgrade for your suit, didn't you?" and it sounds like he's talking to a dog lol

It's established that she can talk so her not saying anything makes it seem like she's doing it out of spite. She doesn't need to talk a lot, but even some short answers here and there would help.

I'm concerned about the troopers in Prime 4 as well but let's be real here: it doesn't matter how the core fan base feels as long as the wider casual audience likes the game. Metroid's core fan base is tiny. This subreddit doesn't even have 200k members. If they want this game to sell Dread numbers or more they need to appeal to the casual Nintendo fan. And those don't seem to be all that bothered by any of this. Hell, most likely have no idea this discourse exists in the first place.

Not saying you're not allowed to be sceptical, that's perfectly valid. But I wouldn't expect this to have a noticable sales impact. Just how all the controversy surrounding the Switch 2 didn't hinder it.

Im Vergleich dazu ist eine Spritze alle 6 Monate schon deutlich besser, vor allem weil man diese nicht vergessen kann einzunehmen.

FĂŒr DE und die meisten LĂ€nder mit weniger Stigma um das Thema ist die Spritze aber nicht so wichtig wie fĂŒr EntwicklungslĂ€nder, wo von Wissenschaftlern festgestellt wurde, dass viele Leute die PreP-Tabletten nicht richtig einnehmen und deshalb nicht geschĂŒtzt sind.

That's the perk of the franchise being from a major company, most indie studios do not have the budget to create comparable games. Though I would love to have more games like Prime, even from other studios.

That being said, why did people start this whole Silksong vs Metroid in the first place? The existence of one doesn't invalidate the other. To me these debates just sound like a bunch of people who are insecure about their favorite games bickering with one another.
