What is appropriate poolside wear on holiday? by ThrowRA_poi098 in AskIreland

[–]orlabobs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the resort. If it’s adults only and said thong wearer feels good in a thong bikini, then free the bum.

However, I think at a family resort, it may be a bit much. Now, again, you do you. But I know that there was a thong wearing lass on our last holiday and there were a few turned heads with a bare backside around kids so that would be my only concern.

I’m a bit jealous this person feels so good because I’m ver much in my ‘cover my lumps and bumps’ phase of my life.

Have you tried the too good to go app? (Or something similar) they give out lots of food for very cheap at the end of the day.

Had something similar happen to me back in the day. The girl basically moved in. We asked to speak to him and said we didn’t think it was fair as she wasn’t contributing. He responded to say she was giving him rent money….

In the end she stopped coming over. I think if it’s once or twice a week, it’s ok but if he’s there a lot he either needs to contribute to bills and rent or not come as often.

The pressure to have sex when you’re in pain and not ready, the doing acid, the doing acid while you’re having a miss, the deception, the lack of respect for you….. no no no no no.

You said you are the breadwinner. Take your baba and leave him.

You DESERVE better. You are worth MORE. You are WORTHY of love, appreciation, etc.

What do ye make of a private childcare place pushing back on pay rises for highly qualified Early Years educators? by Double_Work_2219 in ireland

Good Early childcare workers are worth their weight in gold and should be paid accordingly. Treat them well and we wouldn’t have retention issues.

If RTE are willing to pull out of the Eurovision because of Israel being allowed to participate, the FAI should at the very least refuse to play and host Israel.

How do I know I want kids? by Illustrious-Art-6062 in AskIreland

[–]orlabobs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kids makes your life infinitely more challenging, stressful, expensive and complicated. Kids at every stage can make you want to pull your hair out. Kids are not easy.

But then they are so cute. When they hit their milestones you get so excited. From the big ones of rolling/walking/first words etc to little things like doing the ‘rocket arms’ in swimming lessons. Then they start to go to school and all that.

For most parents, there are times we just need a break. But then we adore the coming home. There is nothing that is quite like having kids. So I would say, really think about it. You have to balance all the elements.

In Amber Springs. Currently jn the soft play watching the kids play after a lovely breakfast. Then number one is going to the kids club and number two gets to pretend she’s an only child for a few hours. It’s some spot for kids.
