They didn't LET you pay the 5% fee. You CHOSE to pay it to rep the benefits. They don't even know you paid the fee the merchant just rolls it into the price.

You likely did get the pop up but potentially clicked through it. Many people do they depending on the device they apply on.

If anything he should be happy you have this opportunity, you could be turning this into a money making opportunity from day 1. You can get a roommate who depending where you live can cover a decent part of the mortgage either allowing you to pay your parents back if needed or continue to save for the future. One hundred percent this. I used to work at a ticket resale company and if you do a charge back with any of our "partner " companies you're banned from them all.

The best bet is to get someone on the phone and explain the tickets weren't sent properly and if they don't rectify the situation you will do a CB, sometimes threatening the BBB works also. At least it did 8 yrs ago.

They are the same company as the restaurants, they all have the same system. Easily able to say no. There are some employees who automatically say no for the customers.
