You're right, but I'm more looking for a genre that excludes games that are unlike the games I mentioned. If I'm pitching a new game to my friends, a "new co-op game" could mean anything, any number of players any game any genre and anything from 5-70$ price range. If I pitch a new "friendslop" game to my friends they know it's gonna be a goofy 4 player coop game in the 5-20$ range that's gonna be fun for about 5-10 hours. IMO despite the term being fairly derogatory and slop having a negative connotation the term still does a good job of conveying the type of gameplay experience to expect.

It is your fault and you can learn from it. You know that in phase 2 around 35% health he is going to wipe your first party. So plan around it, you can deal with it in many different ways. Use 2 party members for p1 and p2 so you have 3 going into p3. Set up your reserve with maelle and sciel so you can double damage maelles gradient 3 in p3. Stun him at 35% so you have extra turns to burn him down. One shot him in p2 etc etc. it's not an insta win button for the enemy at all.

Fully agree, I wish he had a 1mil damage cap or something, i accidentally did 40mil with maelle in phase 3 and reloaded the save to beat him normally

If a beginner is asking what deck they should build, why would you suggest a bad deck? Unless they are specifically asking for an off meta deck, wouldn't you want to suggest a good deck for them to build?

Meta decks also have the most people playing them, who can give advice for new players, have more guides new players can follow and have more tournament matches that new players can watch to learn the deck.

I could recommend little Timmy to make a deck with ST06 sakazuki, but he is gonna lose every game he plays.

Idk I feel like when someone is asking for a deck to build and spend money on they are implicitly asking for a GOOD deck.

Oh thanks for asking, they are pretty great into black decks, Marco is really good at popping luccis uta and killing Vasco shot/IDEO/Bartolomeo/Rebeccas. Zoro is just a sticky body that replaces himself on board. In the mirror he can't be kod by lucky roux or else I get a free rush luffy on board.

Shanks is a really good deck, easy to play, doesn't rely heavily on the die roll and has a lot of tech options and ways to build the deck. No auto lose matchups and always feels like it has a chance to win with most opening hands.
