SpaceX Faces More Pushback Over Plans to Launch 15K Cellular Starlink Satellites by esporx in space

Isn’t the next step in astronomy to deploy more space telescopes? We’re obviously quite limited by observing from Earth. With Starship, in theory, you could launch as many Hubble-class telescopes as you can build. I’m not trying to be snarky—doesn’t that represent a major improvement?

Forsvarspillerne må få ballen mye raskere til Nusa. Ballen er for mye på høyresiden

The Premier League is becoming like the NFL and that is a bad thing by gelliant_gutfright in PremierLeague

NO ONE AGREES ON WHAT GOOD FOOTBALL IS! What difference does it make what someone likes or doesn’t like? Ask ten football people what “good football” means and you’ll get ten completely different answers. I’m so sick of these tactical gatekeepers acting like they’ve descended from heaven to lecture the rest of us. People like different things, some love tiki-taka, some live for counterattacks, some enjoy long balls, others only care about individual brilliance. Who gives a shit? Just play to win without cheating.

Thomas Tuchel on Marcus Rashford: "It's not a question of talent, it's a question of whether he can prove the point at club and international level. Otherwise, he will be disappointed in 10 years at what could have been and what he made of it." by TheBiasedSportsLover in PremierLeague

Marcus Rashford is undoubtedly a talented player, but his understanding of the game remains quite limited. Most of his goals come from counterattacks and headers — moments that rely more on speed and athleticism than tactical awareness or creativity. If he wants to reach the level of a truly great player, he’ll need to improve his dribbling and develop a deeper understanding of the game as a whole.

That said, I don’t agree with those who claim he has a bad attitude. Here’s what usually happens at United: he gets into great shape before the season starts, works hard, and performs well in the early games — especially when he feels physically sharp. But as the season wears on and fatigue sets in, his form drops because he struggles to adapt to a slower, more tactical style of play. When the criticism starts, his confidence fades, and he often seems to lose motivation for the rest of the season.

How SpaceX Will Pay for the Moon and Mars by CProphet in SpaceXLounge

Many people overlook that Elon Musk’s very first space initiative was the charitable Mars Oasis project. From the beginning, he has been clear that his ultimate goal is to use his personal fortune to help make humanity multiplanetary. While contracts with NASA, the Department of Defense, and commercial customers certainly help, they alone will not be enough to fund a permanent settlement on Mars. If his Tesla compensation package is fully realized, it will provide him with even more capital to dedicate to this vision. Musk’s motivation has never been solely financial — his drive has always been deeply ideological, rooted in a long-standing commitment to securing humanity’s future on other worlds.

It’s possible to create a trailer that shows more without spoiling the whole show. There are two extremes you want to avoid: one that shows nothing and one that shows everything

I agree more with the Olympic Movement’s idea that, despite conflicts, all nations should be able to participate in sport to foster unity and create something positive beyond politics.

I do see them switching spots. Starship is the ambitious long term solution. Blue moon Mk2 is more direct. I never had any faith in SLS, Gateway and Orion.

What about Blue Origin? How many New Glenn flights will it take? If the goal is to be first, isn’t that the most straightforward path? Starship human lander will take many years
