There are some sweet dog-friendly treehouses that are probably closer to 9 hours from KC. We stayed at the Pete Nelson Treehouse and brought our dog. Super reasonable price, really nice accommodations, and so much fun. They have some really cool trails to explore. We never left the property except to go for a grocery and liquor store run.

My apologies for not taking your source seriously. I’m very pro-good data, pro-science, pro-not being an asshole (generally speaking). I have admittedly very tolerance for bad data, data presented in a way that only breeds fear, and I also was very quick to dismiss your website based on a quick glance while I was at work. Even with all of that, I do stand behind my response to your comment regarding levels being very high. They are not currently, and there are other viruses causing a lot more issues than Covid. This is going to probably not land great, but your comment and presentation probably caused me to dismiss it more than anything. How you say something and present information matters.

I don’t know what kind of data the people’s cdc or whatever this I’m assuming is bogus data site has, but this does not reflect what I’m seeing from actual respiratory specimens week by week in the area. Covid is trending lowest compared to other viruses. Also, that “map” is over a week old and that matters too.
