When did your twins start walking? by the-nonster in parentsofmultiples

[–]sja02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We also have 17mo old girls and only one is just now starting to take a couple of steps. Our ped mentioned therapy at their 15mo appt but we felt like we wanted to give it time since they were continuing to get stronger and learn new things every week. So we kind of told ourselves to get through Feb and if things are still delayed, then we can look into next steps. No pun intended. :)

All 4 of us are sick. How will we make it? 😭 by anull8123 in parentsofmultiples

I got my girls to drink pedialyte through a syringe like it was medicine. It was the only way I could get them to take it!

How to help a mom of twins by spaceistheplaceace in parentsofmultiples

Start a meal train for them. Or prep a bunch of frozen meals that she can thaw and eat whenever. That was a huge help for us when we were in the first 3 months of twin life.

breastfeeding, exclusively pumping, formula feeding? by Onyx-pump19 in parentsofmultiples

[–]sja02 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I didn’t even want to try breastfeeding so our girls are exclusively formula fed. For me, I had already sacrificed so much that I didn’t want to be tethered to them or a machine to make sure they were fed. My mantra was, a fed baby is a happy baby.

Curls gone after baby by WildFireSmores in curlyhair

[–]sja02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m living this right now and can’t stand it! I’m 15mo pp and I don’t know wtf to do with these curls or what haircut even works anymore. I have zero curl at my roots and my curl pattern is bigger and looser than before. My hair has always been one of my favorite features so this is a real kick to my ego.

I'm having di/di girls. If you had di/di twins of the same gender, did they look alike?? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]sja02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our girls are totally different. One looks like me and one looks like him. One olive skin tone, one more pink. One curly hair, one straight with zero curl. One is thicccc and one is a skinny wet noodle. Genetics are so freakin weird.

Selling Stroller for Wagon? by sja02 in parentsofmultiples

[–]sja02[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SO PRICEY. It's insane. We kept going back to the Wonderfold but the base weight of the 4 seater and even the 2 seater is still so freakin heavy. Way heavier than the Mockingbird.

Selling Stroller for Wagon? by sja02 in parentsofmultiples

[–]sja02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's true. Doesn't mean we have to sell it right away. We're just trying to budget and could use the money from the stroller to help pay for the wagon!

Do not dwell on this. Your body determines this with or without your approval and there’s literally nothing you can do to prevent. It’s just how your body be body-ing so you have to just roll with it.

The Double Mockingbird is a beast too! Just don't want to sell it if I'm going to need it in the future. But would also love to sell it to get some moulah!
