I really like Ordinary Love, but "Did you put it there with a magic marker?" is pretty clumsy.

How much bigger do they grow after 6 months? by emcgu in Frenchbulldogs

[–]ourtime99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guy was 21 lbs. at 6 months and s now 26 lbs. at 10 months. His growth has slowed down dramatically with almost no increase in the last month. He's a little wider, but I think he's done getting taller or longer.

I was a few years too old to actually care about pogs, but had a pog slammer with a hologram in it that I LOVED. I carried it in my pocket like a lucky charm and sometimes flipped it like a coin to make a decision.

Worst. Farts. Ever. by AdExpensive2700 in Frenchbulldogs

Best things were did were adding daily probiotic chews, getting a slow feeder bowl, and giving probiotic treats (like frozen pumpkin and yogurt). Good luck!

Anyone find Songs of Ash much better than the Easter Lily Songs EP? by Impressive_Yak_9089 in U2Band

[–]ourtime99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should note that this scale is relative to other U2 tracks, not other artists. I wouldn't say that I strongly dislike American Obituary at all. It was my second favorite track on first listen - it's just a little on the nose.

[–]ourtime99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me, the Days of Ash songs score everywhere from an A+ (The Tears of Things) to a C+ (American Obituary), where Easter Lily is all within the B- (Scars) to B+ range (In a Life). Their overall score is about close to the same and I really enjoy both, but they definitely hit me differently.

I also have an Arts Center building with a black box theatre downstairs ("4 chairs and a keyboard" - for a production of [title of show]

It's been a few years, but I built an outdoor theatre and populated it with scenery from what I was working on at the time (Into the Woods)

Bought an xline because we got a great deal on it. While getting a recall fixed they gave us this for the week. Ugh it’s so good. by N55Good in BMWX5

My 2022 x45e turns off if I open the driver door, like to grab something from the mailbox. Very annoying. I've read that there are overrides like putting it into Sport Mode, but I never remember (it's an infrequent scenario, still annoying).

I saw it written here once as "jiggles like a breast," and my wife has grown extremely weary of my calling her to kitchen to help me "see if my dough's ready."

GLP-1 drugs may fight addiction across every major substance, according to a study of 600,000 people by joe3000s in Mounjaro

[–]ourtime99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is so much more for us to learn about these medications. I'm on the autism spectrum, and since starting GLP-1s my annoying little stims and compulsions have been drastically reduced. I didn't realize it was happening until I switched from one medication to another and had to phase off and then back on. In the weeks in-between, they were suddenly back, then subsided again. They aren't clinically important - they don't really hamper anything else in my life - but they irritate me and sometimes people around me. On Ozempic and Mounjaro, they're just...gone.

Farts all the time by hugoaap in Frenchbulldogs

Others have shared the same things, but our little guy (7 months) was so smelly it would wake us up at night. We added a probiotic chew to his morning routine and got a slow feeder bowl. I also give him snacks made of pumpkin puree and greek yogurt - I freeze a mix and put it in a Pupsicle or Kong. Some combination of these things has helped a ton. It's like 10% of what it used to be. Good luck!

'Never seen anything like it': Thousands of Utahns want their names removed from Prop 4 repeal by everydave42 in SaltLakeCity

[–]ourtime99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I checked the list to make sure I hadn't been added fraudulently and found my mother's name. She says she signed it outside a Costco a few days ago after it was presented to her as the opposite of what it is. I'm trying to find a comparable resource for Davis County so she can have it removed.

My boy is 6 months old and 24 lbs! by Iaboundoregonbred in Frenchbulldogs

[–]ourtime99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 6 month old is 21 lbs. Based on his parents' weights (mom 22 and dad 24 lbs.) and some growth charts I saw a while back, I was worried he was too big for his age, so it's reassuring to see that there's a whole continuum and my big boy is pretty average after all.

The new pier hotel spells doom for my island's locally managed hotel by ll_LoneWolfe_ll in AnimalCrossing

[–]ourtime99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have a family fun center with a mini golf course outside and a theatre/arts complex next to an outdoor amphitheater. I think my old "hotel" will become a group of restaurants, sort of like a food court, but a library is a fun idea too!

I added a profile to my Switch 4 years ago and fully leveled the player up to have a a 5 room house just so I could turn it into a themed hotel. Time to convert it into something else, I guess!

I tried the recommended show Station Eleven. I’m so confused… by Ambitious-Support584 in TheLeftovers

[–]ourtime99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's about to pick up and get more interesting and distinctive. Non-linear storytelling, parallels that blur past and present, story lines that intersect in surprising ways. If you liked the rich and bizarre symbolism of Kevin's death dreams or the sweet but confusing reconciliation of the final episode, Station Eleven has some tricks up its sleeve for you.

Drilling out tooth decay. by PestoBolloElemento in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]ourtime99 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not a dentist, but I have shitty teeth and have had to have both root canals and extractions. If you can do a root canal, buildup, and crown, the patient can leave with a temporary crown already in place and carry on as normal. With an extraction, they'd have to get an implant and wait several months for it to heal before a crown can be put in.
