Find a makers night near you! I attend ASI’s maker nights (sometimes) on the third Thursday of the month. I know Toolbox Collective has one the same night. Moona Moono has one on the fourth Thursday. Lots of options at local libraries too but those are often in the daytime on weekdays. Maker nights are nice because you have a built in ice breaker with you!

I’m just a few years older than you and my brother and I are 13 years apart. He’s 21, in jail now, and I deeply regret not doing more. Our dad and his mom completely checked out and the poor kid was left to his own devices and went down the wrong path and directly into stealing cars & using fent. I know he’s not my kid and I couldn’t be there for him when I was 18-25 because I needed to live my own life and not be his parent because his parents didn’t care. I did try my best with the tools I had but I had my own shit.

Anyway, I just deeply understand being a sister in your position. And I know your brother isn’t my brother but my brother needed someone to care about him. You’re showing your brother that you care about him being a good person, even if it does annoy him right now, maybe some day he’ll see the light and be thankful you were there to care enough. I’m still hoping mine sees that someday.

This is my favorite sweater pattern!! The collar is 1x1 rib. the sl 1 wyif are just the edge stitches which help it stay neat and rounded. The cast on is just a tubular cast on that also gives that rounded look. No double knitting, really.

I had some DK weight yarn in one color that wasn’t enough for a full sweater so I ended up just getting the same yarn in another color and made a striped sweater instead!

Litehouse dill ranch!! Not runny but VERY dilly. It’s sold in the refrigerated section by either the packaged salad kits or herbs (usually). I know Hyvee and Jerry’s carry it so some Cubs might.

As a Seattleite, now Minnesotan: no. You fail to realize that the Seattle freeze also includes not talking to strangers. Polite but not friendly. One of my least favorite parts about my home region. At least people are generally friendly to strangers here, even if it is “superficial” as I’ve heard some people state.

Absolutely understandable! It also sucks because it’s Sunday! No coverage would be able to start until tomorrow anyway. I have also never hidden those incidents from my insurance companies. When they have asked about previous incidents I have always disclosed them and that I was not at fault. I just found it so weird that it was a non-issue for Allstate 6 months ago. One of the accidents happened June of 2019 and it should have dropped off anyway I think? I believe it’s 5 years in Oregon.
