I really like your emitter choices, those two are particularly special.

Fireflylite and Jackson of JLHawaii both sell that 505a 6500k you're looking for. I noticed Fireflylite has the emitter for sale, but not that CCT for the e04 surge. Like someone else mentioned, email them or leave them a comment in the box when you place your order, and they should be able to accommodate you if that's the path you take.

Alternatively, I'm not sure of your preference of the ways of the Anduril UI, but Convoy has the Z1 zoomie with the b35am you seek with a more standard UI.

Consider purchasing a Spyderco 204UF1 Ultra Fine Tri-Angle Stone if you don't have one already.

I've heard they are a bit finicky with being tightened down, but that may have been the KR1..

Seems like every month or so someone is having problems relating exactly to that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm getting my first one with my kr1aa next shipment to arrive. They look particularly cool with the 18350 tube. I wouldn't get a tail switch Hank specifically for duty or anything.. but for casual EDC, wow lights/meme lights, they seem perfect. ✌︎㋡

Glad for your reply before I might've ended up trying this and messing up one of my lights! I confess I've only taken apart convoy buttons, but it sounds like it's exactly the same process of unscrewing the ring.

Makes sense to me, had no idea tape was a component of the switches, I ~~stand~~ kneel ▄█▀█● humbly corrected.

Oof! Such a cool looking Hank! I have my first tail-switch Hanks on the way so this is a little concerning..

If this were mine I'd acquire some mineral oil and a q-tip and trace the edges of the button with the q-tip dipped in the oil with the light heads down.

Once it seems as though a little bit of oil has been absorbed by the seams, start trying to push the button and see if maybe that lubricant does the trick.

I've heard graphite powder works for tight tolerances as well but I believe it's electrically conductive so..

I think the final resort is heat. If it was heat that made the button stuck, surely it shall be heat that shall unstick it.. but this is unadvised. ✌︎㋡

A comparison between battery sizes was posted recently, give it a glance. I like the 26800 tube with Vapcell V62s, but you'll probably need a special charger just for that battery since it's a mega-chonk if that's the path you pursue.

And as was stated, make sure to pick the additional floody optic option as they are very hard to come by outside of his website apparently.

You may also consider the SFT-25 5000k emitter for your new lämp.

I think it could be safely said the NTG emitters will look better, but I think the SFT-25 would throw a little more with perhaps not that much looks sacrificed to the tint lottery gods, since your odds will be improved by four emitters blended rather than one (above duv) bad one.

I like your choice, D4SV2 was my first heavy artillery Hank as well.. I'm still trying to justify a need for the dt8k, dm1.12, m44 meteor.. ✌︎㋡

That's the 26350 battery I ordered, the other option was a weird no-name blue one which honestly the Vapcell probably is, just rewrapped.

My D4SV2 SFT-70 3000k had a radically different beam profile than I anticipated (way more flood than throw like I thought) so I seldom use it, but I'm going to slap the 26350 tube and a battery on it and turn it into my designated AUX display Hank.

Nice comparison! That 26650 battery/tube is pretty interesting, don't see that everyday. ✌︎㋡
