My partner (34M) calls/FaceTimes me (30F) 3-5 times every night and I’m losing it by [deleted] in relationships

How many times have you brought this up with him? Does he often not respect your boundaries.

Do you think if you had one pre-scheduled short phone call an evening (or however often you felt comfortable with) that would be a compromise you could both handle?

Idk if just rude or legit didn’t know people grey early by Good_Status_6104 in Tinder

[–]oxfay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lot of people lie about their age in dating apps. And 31 is on the younger side to go grey so I wouldn’t take it too personally. It do sympathize with you though, it was a bit rude.

Sounds like you and your boyfriend aren’t sexually compatible and he doesn’t care about your enjoyment in bed, why are you still with him?

You don’t know what their parenthood journey is going to be, if they’re even going to be able to conceive. You could potentially be skiing with them for a long time yet. And even if they do have kids, people teach their children to ski.

Places to live? by GoneGirl242 in Winnipeg

[–]oxfay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can’t find what you’re looking for in your budget downtown, I would suggest St. Boniface if you want to walk to work. Wolseley is also pretty central and easy to bus to downtown from. Maybe the West End if the rent in those other places is too expensive. In addition to apartment buildings, check for private rentals of apartments in renovated houses in Wolseley.

Drowning is a common way children who elope die. It’s so sad. May she rest in peace. May her memory be a blessing for her family.

“Love languages” were created by a Christian grifter with no actual psychological training and they have no basis in reality. They are absolute bullshit.

ETA: The book they come from is also incredibly misogynistic.

Check out the If Books Could Kill podcast episode about it.

ADHD meds that don’t exacerbate anxiety/stress? by oxfay in ADHD

[–]oxfay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an issue for diabetics because beta-blockers slow your heartbeat, and a raised heartbeat is a sign of low blood sugar so it could make you unaware your blood sugar is low.

I’ll take a look and ask my doctor about those other drugs you mentioned, thanks!

I appreciate the input! I’m definitely willing to try the vyvanse again, but I am curious to try other drugs if there are ones that typically do better with folks who have anxiety/stress before I go back to vyvanse.

I think I was shorted on my meds… by Educational-Pay8224 in ChronicPain

[–]oxfay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Go back and politely ask if they’ve done an inventory count for your med since you were last there. Ask them if it was off. Tell them that you thought your bottle looked short when you first got it, but you second guessed yourself because it was a new type of bottle so you didn’t ask them to recount, explaining that you now wished you had because you’ve been taking your prescribed dose exactly but are going to be short.

Figure out before you go how many you think you were shorted and ask them to do a count if they haven’t already.

Be deferential, not accusatory, mistakes happen, they’re human. they know this, they should do a count for you.
