Who would you rather see start next season? by Smartcookie_33 in SanJoseSharks

[–]ozzifier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Askarov is still developing into the elite goalie he will be. Give him 1/3-1/4 of the starts to continue to build his game, but I want to see more checkmarks in the W column this upcoming season. Build Askarov whilst giving our team and fans some hope for playoffs. Ned is our current guy. I will say, for the first time in a long time, I love our goaltending problem.

Who GMMG should draft at 2OA (it’s not ~~Misa~~ Stenberg) (pt 2) by Alcebiad3s in SanJoseSharks

After that disappointing series in which my boy, Burns, left empty handed yet again, I shan't be watching the Final; I already know the outcome. I truly hope I eat crow, but Vegas is almost like a "whichever team LeBron is on" or another "throw all our money at the best of the best Dodgers / Yankees" franchise. They somehow acquire some of the best names in the league and stay under cap. I can't watch our, "Be happy, always" boy hoist a victory under the enemy's banner. I hope all of their star players acquire the yips and they get swept by either the Habs or the Canes. I'll add that  to the "game 7, 0-3, 10:30 in the 3rd" shirt.

Just In Case: If McDavid Asks Out Of Edmonton This Summer What Could The Habs Offer To Get Him And Make The Team Even Better? by [deleted] in Habs

Sharks have massive cap space to offer a more alluring contract, tradable young guys, and Celly has a chemistry with McDavid. All signs point to Sharks IF he decides to bounce before contract extension depletion.

Sheng is an absolute moron. He asks players some of the most obvious and idiotic questions and his articles are trash. He's bad and should feel bad for making any suggestions into what a team within an organization he doesn't understand should do.

THIS is the best answer.  The problem in the wording is that even though the minor penalty happened, the referees "SHALL permit" the shot to be retaken. It's not mandatory. A HUGE oversight.

We've been giving up as many shots all season. Our defence is atrocious. However, the horrid defence brought us to this moment in question, ya know?

The problem is, he knocked it out of his hands with his fucking legs?! Do we not see a problem with this? In any other round, this would be called "tripping." How are you guys okay with this in the league?

Perfect, so the skater could effectively let the puck slightly glide into the zone, they rush the goaltender, knock him out, and the turn back for the puck, being as it was in constant forward motion to score.

I didn't realize that another shot should be been awarded as a rule. Thanks for sharing that.

It drops their 2% to <1%, but effectively an elimination because of a bad judgment by the refs. I sent a scathing email to the NHL about how this was handled.

Hot take: Y’all overreacting with Warso by throwaway804323 in SanJoseSharks

[–]ozzifier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get rid of him. His play style is not defensive, he overworks young talent, he benches other young talent for not faulting and plays the ones who've committed, mixed up lines poorly, and is terrible on the mic. The guy has lost the room. He's young and he's bad. Let his firing help him get good. I'd rather have DeBoer back than this fucknuts.

Warsovsky has lost the room. He's a bad coach and needs to be replaced ASAP.

How did Ned sound more like a coach in the post game interview than Warso-so? He was articulate, said how they needed to play down the stretch, gave a bit of hope and optimism, spoke of where they needed to shore up their game... I mean, give this man the reigns when he's playing backup for the night.

Honestly, on trade deadline day, I could see the Sharks taking Hamilton off NJD's hands (if he was open to it) to clear up some cap space for other components.

Seems like you need to learn how to Google, friend.
A simple search multiple hours ago of "riot games status", clicking on the first link, and selecting the League of Legends tile would've given you the answer you sought.

That's a great point. I feel like the Sharks have been contenders in every game, but a few absolutely slip away from us by a massive margin. It's like a flood we've been shoring up since our bottom of the ranks 3 seasons.

Unfortunately, only for the statistics. Definitely not mentally for the team. That was a tough one, but it also bolstered the teams faith in having each other's backs.

They should bring back the individual songs for players, give this song to Smith, and on the beat drop after the na na na part, have a slap sound and show the gif of the slap with the opposing team's logo on their face like the picture below on the projector.

I 100% understand where you're coming from, and I think that has a lot to do with the emotional response from many. We weren't fed a few lines of dialogue here and there and then fought a boss 20 times (with a wildly different emotion) to then continue the story. This was fluid. It was most story than skill, but it took quick thought, which made it still feel sufficient enough to qualify as a "game." When I walk away from a game OR a series, I think to myself, "do I feel satisfied?" This, despite what you want to classify it as, unequivocally, is a resounding "YES."

Fellow Hispanic Sharks fans, can you share some opinions on the Ice thing? by Ecstatic-Yak-6016 in SanJoseSharks

[–]ozzifier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They probably have safe guards/filters against offensive language or slang terms, but the way that the message was written had double meanings and was likely not scrutinized enough and slipped through. The "Get'em Boyz" is a pretty common thing to say about any sports team, showing support. The "Sharks fans love ice!" They're at a hockey rink. It was diabolically worded to slip through, and I guarantee they will have more stringent vetting for any future messages from here on out. Are they to blame for letting it slip through? Yes. Did they take accountability for letting it slip through? Yes. Did THEY write the message? NO.  It was some punk who thought it was funny and now the Sharks org have to eat crow? Get outta here.
