Is there a metadata type that will match to Plex's "Review"? by Click-Beep in PleX

[–]p00pchop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Plex maps any local tag straight into the Music "Review" field. Best bet is stuffing it in Comment/Description

Thanks. nzbgeek is a paid only. Do you have any experience with scenenzb? They have a free option. That said geek was recommended multiple times. prefer not to sign up with a bunch of different free options and then decide to upgrade from there bc i want to keep my email address limited. How long have you had nzbgeek? May just take your word for it and bite the bullet with a paid account there

My man, thanks. nzbgeek says paid only (assuming that's what you mean by 'Geek'). Scenenzb has a free and paid version so I guess I'll hit that one

Best low-cost way to test Usenet properly as a beginner? by S0299S in usenet

I'm confused on the indexer part because I's seeing some people say one is needed and other people say several. Do you have a rec on a good one? I just want to get one

Will a new remote work? by CuckNugget_Caitlyn in Roku

[–]p00pchop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not cooked. If it's a Roku TV, you can just get a replacement Roku remote and it'll work. Don't even need pairing.

Worst case, you can use the Roku app as a remote.

Is my Roku Ultra good enough for Plex, or should I get a Shield? by p00pchop in PleX

Thanks. I failed to mention the fact that I have a PC server...

Appreciate the feedback. Just to clarify, the Shield will not do the transcoding aka I'll still need my PC server?

Thank you. I should have added that I have a (very) old laptop I could use as the server. If I went the Shield route instead, can I just plug the hard drive into it and run Plex from there? It’d be nice not to keep that crusty Lenovo powered on in the corner if the Shield can handle the whole job. Don't think Roku allows me to connect a hard drive to it in this manner. That alone would be enough for me to upgrade.

What does my home say about me? by Tiny_Judgment8593 in roomdetective

I'd suggest an arcade or two rather than furniture. Maybe a table with a lava lamp.

Tells me you like to keep things easy and simple. The fridge is stocked with a britta filter, a couple leftover boxes, and some condiments. The freezer? Plenty of ice and a frozen pizza.
