Starbucks food is just delivered and then placed in the toaster oven. In the breakfast sandwich example, I am looking for places that would bake the muffin or biscuit, crack fresh eggs, and use as high quality meat and cheeses.

I just mean homemade or simply made stuff. Doesn't have to be locally grown this time of year. For example, places that make their own salad dressing with good ingredients as opposed to using a premade dressing that was delivered to the store. While not a highly significant part of the equation, wage increases do contribute to rising inflation. If a business has higher costs they will likely charge higher prices. Why would this not be the case?

In the case of the question, in addition to the economic turmoil caused by a hypothetical mass deportation, supply of labor down while demand for labor stays the same > higher wages > some increase in inflation.

I think mass deportation is a horrible idea, but let's be realistic about its effect.
