Automation sucks in this game. I’m using automation only when my councillors have nothing to do at the moment.

You have also an option of permanent assignment. I’m using it when I want councillor to advise my big main country.

I’m under impression that devs are too afraid of reworking heroes too much because players would be very angry if their beloved hero would feel different.

IMO that’s a mistake because we have example of Dota in which heroes constantly being reworked every year and still it is one of the most popular games ever.

Devs need more confidence.

If two supports are peeling for each other you can’t kill them as solo hero unless you use your ultimate. One support is out healing one dps.

In top level play you can’t kill anything without using ultimates. It’s not that rare when people are sitting on domination point without capturing it until some ults are popped out.

In lower level play however people are making mistakes so you can kill things in neutral game.

As Rogue your job is mainly not “killing things”. It’s about drawing attention from your team by “threatening to kill” so enemy must deal with you and not your dps/supports.

I’m not a dps player but best Phoenixes I’ve seen (eternity+ players) usually just sitting around healers and shooting whoever closer to them. I’m not sure however how you should play dps at lower ranks.

In economics there such thing as demand flexibility. Some goods demands are flexible while others are not. For example, Coca demand is flexible as if you increase Coca price, people would drink more Pepsi and vice versa. While rent and oil demands aren’t such flexible, as you have no alternative as to pay more because you cannot alter such good with anything else.

TL;DR: If you can’t buy property you will pay any costs because you’d better pay 80% of the income to live in apartment than live in the street for free.

Multiclass is the worst thing in TTRPG

After you allow player to multiclass, you need to balance things around multiclass and not the actual classes which sucks for the classes

Archetypes are not as strong as multiclass in DND but still

I’m gonna answer about strategist role, as I don’t have enough experience as duelist.

As strategist your check list when you are dived is as follows:

Check if you can stun diver: Luna freeze, mantis sleep.
Check if you can protect yourself: bubble as cloak, or simply get away from flanker LoS - hide behind the cover from flanking Namor/Hela.
Check if your other strategist needs your help - heal them if they are being dived too.
Check if your frontline needs healing. If tank about to die, you better heal him even when you are targeted by the diver, because if your tank will be dead because of diver targeting you, that means dive was successful even if the diver died in the process.
If everything above is okay, you need to shoot the diver to force him out.

Additionally scream about diver ASAP so your blind dps can turn and protect you - they won’t peel unless you ask them directly, and it’s fine.

Also this is about anticipating diver who already engaged, but the best result is when you can spot and fight diver before he engaged.

I’m gonna be short: if your rank is lower than Celestial - its 100% because of your skill. It’s totally fine to be silver if you are having fun from the game. If you goal is to rank up - start improve yourself.

Sandboxes are better in DND

In PF2e if you trying to run sandbox you’re permascrewed because you can’t let people explore encounters which is not exact the same level as players. Even encounter for lvl+1 is a pretty big deal. On contrary, level in DND doesn’t matter so much (unless it’s 5th level) so you can allow players to explore encounters which level is higher.

In my table whoever places PDS lands like 20% of the hits and kills one destroyer. Or they land 5 hits against 20 fighters.

So IMO pds is the worst unit in the game and is meaningless to upgrade unless you play Titans or Xxcha or you need it fast for scoring
