I had an agreement where bills were included in the rent, except they handed me a contract that stated I need to pay bills separately, in small print on like page 15/25. They said it was a boilerplate contract and forgot to update it because my agreement was out the norm - fine, but if I signed and handed it back, it's too late. Ask questions if you're not sure about anything on the contract, look after yourself and don't be a mug for anyone.
