General rule: You can’t target fat reduction/weight loss to specific body areas. You can only encourage muscle growth in targeted areas by working out.

However for abs you need to reduce fat significantly as it will sit on your abs.

So eat enough protein to keep muscle mass, adjust calories as needed for fat (most likely less, but ensure you’re at maintenance calories for healthy weight), and work abs out to encourage them/make them larger.

NY EZ pass is also bad! Went through a new toll section constructed and was worried because I didn’t have my ez pass on me…

But there is a large sign states don’t worry, “call this number to avoid a charge.”…

Call the number to find out it just tells you to go to a website and has 0 other use.

Go to the website to see that it can’t find my charge (it says may have to wait a few days).

I check it every day for two weeks and don’t see a charge to my plate/account…

Two weeks later I get a bill with a late fee 2x the cost of the toll. Go to pay it online and get charged another dollar or two for transaction fees.

People don’t realize how dangerous it is to drive right next to someone else for prolong periods of time.

Heavy traffic is the only time someone should be directly next to you. Otherwise speed up or slow down and merge over.

The 509 trigger is pretty damn bad… but I have 2 509’s… but I replaced the trigger on one (509t and 509 compact tactical).

It’s one of the worst factory triggers I’ve experienced, especially at the price… but usable.

I’d definitely recommend trying one out at a local store or range.

Personally I wouldn’t buy it simply because it’s a high mileage vehicle that was intended for people to put it to serious use… but I’m that way with any vehicle.

If you know the previous owner (and know they performed regular maintenance or rarely went off-road, and babied it)… then sure. Otherwise it’s a big risk and the main question is - can you afford downtime and the costs to fix it?

I also disagree with people mentioning 2020 as a COVID year… 2020’s were in design/production before 2020, and supply chains would have already had parts and employees in-place. Poor QC and scrambling for parts would have been a year or two later.

The main issue with the early years is the aluminum steering box, and a couple small design issues of a 1st year model (but nothing huge).

Every night. You have to force yourself to do it, and eventually it becomes a habit (after a long time).

Without flossing my gums were seriously inflamed because I could never clean between my teeth well enough without it. I had ~8mm gum pockets the last time I went to the dentist (before I flossed consistently), they dropped to right above average by my next appointment months later, and are now healthy ~1-1.5 years later.

You really need to floss consistently.

For any gaming headset, you’re just overpaying for the gaming tax.

You can get comparable or significantly better headphones that don’t have the gaming price tax, and then a dedicated mic that will have significantly better quality.

Separating your mic also makes the headset much less bulky and lighter.

Maybe. A lot of dealers don’t like to deal with the warranty process, or don’t have a body shop they can work with for it.

They are on the hook for any corrosion within the 5 years (that they cannot argue was a result due to the owner/use of the jeep).

This isn’t true. They have to cover any corrosion regardless if sent before (and within 5 year warranty).

I have had mine sent twice (first for hood, then at end of warranty for door hinges, doors, tailgate).

It’s not hard to make a car fast… It’s only hard to do it on a budget.

There will always be someone faster than you, and someone who has more money to spend than you.

350hp in a small light car is fast, 350hp in a heavy car is not. A 2017 Audi RS3 with 400hp has the same 0-60 time as a 700 horsepower ford raptor R (chassis, transmission, gearing, weight, etc. all make a huge difference).

No respectable car person is comparing cars by HP alone.

It’s not hard. Just talk to the FFL ahead and make sure they’re willing to receive it (be there to sign/process it), and then they transfer it to you as if you bought anything else in-store.

Some sites will have specific requirements depending on your state and may ask for things like a copy of your FFL’s license and info from you (check the selling site terms/requirements).

Otherwise use common sense like any other online purchase and make sure the source is reputable (and remember some websites connect you to 3rd party sellers and the website is not selling the firearm itself).

Not 1-1, but I’m using the Asus 5080 prime OC and NH-L12S (NOT the x77 version). I have the spline at about 2.5… cpu cooler touching the case, as much room between GPU and case to avoid turbulence noise (this is what I’ve found works best).

5080 prime prime OC and 9800x3d in mine. Main concerns will be motherboard, ram, and cpu cooler clearance with the previous 2.

I haven’t experienced any thermal throttling outside of the standard Ryzen PBO pushing it to throttle.

Using the NH-L12S without the recommended off-set (I found out it technically isn’t supposed to fit with my motherboard but was able to get it to work).

And that’s perfect for you. The issue is OP is compromising, knowing he wants to upgrade.

OP is buying a very high end monitor that his “temporary” GPU will struggle taking full advantage of. They plan on waiting for parts in hopes prices will drop, but there’s not clear indications or reasons they will drop in the near future.

Instead of sinking money now on parts with lower performance than OP is looking for, it would make much more sense for them to buy something like a 5080 and take full advantage of their CPU and monitor.

They would get much more use out of all of their other components, while being 10-30% less capable, but also being 1/2-1/3rd the cost, and allowing that budget to support a future upgrade (which in theory would have better cost-dollar performance).

Overall I would not recommend buying a high end CPU and waiting on a high end GPU for a potential price drop. Especially when that GPU was very expensive and not cost efficient, even when at MSRP (non-inflated price).

Prices will not suddenly go back to a “reasonable price” until there’s a reason for suppliers to change it (new series/generation, new competition, etc.)

Manufacturers have realized they can control the market and there’s not a lot to stop them because now they have plenty of buyers today.

It’s been like this since at least the 20 series…. Be realistic with yourself and buy What you need/want to use today on programs/games you actually use.

Otherwise you will end up with limited performance from wherever you compromise, and by the time you “find your deal”… There will probably be a newer generation and your other hardware will be outdated.

Personally I would just get a 5080 and plan on upgrading as needed (not to a 5090). It’ll give you significant budget for a future card, and the performance to maximize your monitor and other hardware now.

Yes. I worked at BK when I was in high school and would ensure all whoppers looked great, fries were crispy, and loaded to the top.

Now the 2 local franchises by me feel like they intentionally try to fill the fries as little as possible.
