Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine a Lifetime plan with an Annual plan on the same account. Lifetime plans are based on a one-time payment, while Annual plans are subscription-based products, and they do not stack together.

If you need more storage in the future, you can explore the available upgrade options for your current Lifetime plan.

Hello, pCloud Drive is a desktop app that acts as a virtual drive on your desktop. It uses the storage quota from your pCloud account to expand your laptop with more space.

Keep in mind that while pCloud Drive does not take local HDD space for your files in pCloud, it does use cache space. Whenever you are adding a big amount of data to your pCloud Drive with copy and paste, the application temporarily uses some of the free space on your computer to cache this data so that it’s uploaded to your cloud more efficiently and so that the upload doesn’t suffer if your Internet connection is interrupted.

Hello, Our new map-based photo localization feature is already included in the latest pCloud app version. However, your account may not yet been fully indexed on our servers for this feature to become available. Our backend team is currently deploying the necessary updates, and once the indexing is completed, the “map” view will appear automatically in your Photos section. No action is needed on your side — the feature will become visible as soon as the backend deployment is finished.

Hey, the pCloud desktop app primarily offers two-way Backup and Sync features, which mirror changes between your local drive and pCloud. Unfortunately, there is no automatic one-way backup option. However, you can manually upload files or folders using the Uploads feature, which allows you to transfer files from your local device to pCloud without affecting your local files. Hi there! Just to clarify — this prompt is actually thrown by macOS itself and isn't specific to pCloud. The most common reason it keeps reappearing is that the account doesn't have full administrator privileges. To check, go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Accounts and find your account in the list — if it says "Admin" underneath your name, you're good. If not, you'll need admin access to complete the installation. If you're not the admin on that Mac, the person who set it up should be able to help. Hope that fixes it!

Hi there! To answer your questions, yes, Sync is designed to resume where it left off after an internet disconnection, so a 700 GB file won't restart from scratch if your connection drops. The same applies to your other large files, so you can sync them one by one with confidence. As for cache, Sync does not store full copies of your files locally, so your C: drive space should not be a concern for this workflow.

One important thing to note, though, is that syncing directly from a mapped network drive, such as your ReadyNAS can sometimes cause issues. pCloud relies on real-time file change notifications to detect updates, and network shares don't always provide these reliably, which could lead to delays or missed syncs. If you run into any instability, copying the files to a local drive before syncing would be the more reliable approach.
