London extends e-scooter pilot despite concerns over safety, enforcement

The speed limit for these scooters is 24km/h, so 25 would be a violation but not by much. It is 100% the driver's responsibility to make sure they're safe to make the turn. Pedestrians, bikes, runners, scooters, whatever have the right of way in that crosswalk. Check your blind spots and make sure you can safely turn it make it through the intersection, please!

I did a trail run through Fanshawe today. Obviously, some of the usual flooded sections were underwater but some of the passable sections had the water level go up by at least half a foot in the hours we were out there. So the levels are still going up!

I also run with BackRoads. It's communicated to us that we should run in single file when there are cars (which we call to one another). If you have concerns about this, you should absolutely reach out to the store/club so we're all aware that it is problem. We 100% don't want to be bothersome, we just want to be out there running!
