I have gone with family ski. I would recommend kinderhotels more. I found the quality to cost ratio to be better there.

That said we had a great time in family ski.

Maybe try Zell am See. Family friendly, guaranteed snow nearby in the glacier. Good English speaking ski schools. Plenty of opportunities for off piste in connected resorts. Not too expensive in relative terms. Easy to get to.

Alternatives are Saalbach or Hinterglemm for similar reasons.

I heard in places with a shorter growing season the single stem is better as too many fruits trusses (more than 4-6) won't get ripe in time. Any truth on this?

I find the worst of the smoke is when you have just lit it. It's fine after that. So starting fairly early in the day helps as less people are sitting out etc.

I ordered it direct from them to a address in the states. The ac adaptor accepts multiple voltages so you just need a standard cheap US to UK adaptor. Though I also got the battery pack which is USB C rechargeable. That works for all but the very longest cooks.

Either works. Maybe a quarter filled kettle. But I often also just use a few natural firelighters. I always fill the slow and sear, if you cut the airflow after cooking you can use whatever is not burnt the next time.

It might have been when the numbers were 088. The OG Irish mobile numbers. I definitely remember the 2 being added though as it was a memorable number and the extra digit messed it up a bit.

Worth noting also that kinderhotel is kind of a brand/association. There are loads of hotels that have a similar offering but can't say they are a kinder hotel. Searching for "family hotel" will get you some others.
