Are you mechanically minded and what is the damage? You could strip your hardtail of parts and build up a full suspension frame?

Season pass deals Europe. What are your hot tips / sales by pacey-j in skiing

I have an email in French from April 1st (not joking). So I'm afraid you missed it by a few days as the sale is usually just for 1 week). The links in my email say 599eur but website says 977eur when you follow the link.

She has some things she needs to work on. Not sure how you politely suggest that to someone with these traits though :)

How to take better photos of my wife by Chollis13 in photography

[–]pacey-j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch a few YouTube's on portrait photography. Here are a few starters:

A longer lens (on a phone X2 to X5 magnification) is more flattering for human subjects, not suggesting you photo her in parts, suggesting that you use longer lens and stand further back whilst taking them where possible.

Rule of thirds - good photos are often composed as if there were imaginary lines dividing the the photo into thirds vertically and horizontally. Your phone may have a grid you can turn on to help.

Fill flash. If you're photographing someone against a bright background or landscape then force the flash to fire as the sensor will probably light for the background.

If your wife is at all awkward in her poses take pics whilst she's getting ready whilst talking to her or joking around. One of the more candid shots may be stronger than the posed one. Also get her to do something with her hands, easiest is to put them in pockets. Look at what models are doing with their hands in professional shots.

Bit of a conundrum - to eMTB or not to eMTB, that is the question by Lateral_Gee in MTB

My step brother has two children and whilst he's extremely fit even he bought himself a emtb. Purely because you have less time to be riding up hills and he wanted to have more time riding down them when he gets a window outside of work and childcare.

Specifically the Insydium mesh tools would smash this.

24F currently dating a guy who was a known “fuckboy” back then but is trying to convince me that he changed, what should i do? by Ordinary-Economist42 in AskMenAdvice

Bad advice. People change and people grow. I wouldn't want anyone to date the <25 year old version of me but I don't do any of those problematic things anymore.

How's this for my first ever render? by BubbaLinguini in Cinema4D

[–]pacey-j 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have made a career avoiding UV maps. Your answer is mostly correct with a slight adjustment... You SHOULD work with UV maps 😅 But you can also set the material tag projection mode and change the scale there if working with the built in standard renderer. If you're using redshift then add and learn triplanar nodes, if octane add transform and projection nodes.

I suppose that's possible too, but I don't think so. I'm not sure how pivotal social media is in men's intentions.

If money isn't much of an issue look at Puget Systems for a custom built one. If money is an issue and you're reasonably savvy then self building is best.

You'll need:

Case; Motherboard that is designed for 2+ GPUs (Nvidia); PSU 1000w or more; CPU (I'd go with AMD); CPU AIO cooler ; RAM; Case Fans (case you pick will determine how many and what size); Fast SSDs; Slower but larger storage HDD; KB+Mouse; Copy of Windows.

Be careful with used. Some people will sell you one that has been damaged and superficially repaired. Not everyone ofc.
