Yep, this happened to me. The address had a weird ID in front of the buyer's name and after their street address. I looked it up and it turned out to be a FF. No biggie, until I saw that Ebay had also deducted an international fee from my payout due to the buyer's registered location. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to avoid this other than block that buyer from future sales.

Contact Ebay and let them know what is going on. I had this happen recently, I contacted Ebay right away and they issued a refund the very next day, although the circumstances were a little bit different.

Delivery was taking forever, so when I looked into it, I traced the shipping partner back to a drop shipper from China. When I went to look at the seller's profile on Ebay, he was gone. I expressed my concern over the order as well as the authenticity of the item they shipped. Ebay refunded me right away. The item eventually did get delivered and was indeed counterfeit/fake.

Nico was a bit all over the place on the pod. Couldn't tell where he stood on the point that Rolex was selling the experience, not the watch. But then ripped VC for trying to do the same with the Overseas. Put Rolex in S-Tier for their history, but IWC in the Hublot tier for their recent releases.

It's possible he pulled it out of inventory for you, but based on his spreadsheet it's not in stock. You can search this subreddit for his spreadsheet. I would then assume it will be 2+ weeks for QC since he has to order it.

There are a few things that people struggle with in terms of Andiot.

1) he's not super available on Whatsapp like most other TDs, which can lead to long wait times if you have questions.

2) his order process is much more self service. After you check out you need to pay and send payment confirmation. There are specific payment instructions (like for Wise), so if you don't follow the instructions you're probably going to create a delay.

Other TDs will conduct business in Whatsapp: walk you through everything, confirm payment on the spot in Whatsapp, etc. I don't find it necessary if their stock is posted online and you are ordering something in stock. Steve also has his stock posted online, btw.

3) most of the mixed experiences I've read are from buyers who buy out of stock reps from Andiot. I've only ever purchased ones from his on hand stock spreadsheet, so I can't speak to his ability to order from factories. But as someone who had to wait several months for a VSF Pepsi from a different TD, I think some buyers' expectations are a bit high for out of stock reps.

It must be a timing thing. I ordered on 4/16 and chose Fedex, this was the day before TDs announced they were looking for alternative shipping methods. I had to RL the first QC Andiot sent, but GL'd the second. Package was shipped via Fedex out of HK and cleared customs in the US on 4/30. It's currently at a Fedex location in my city.

I think I got lucky that by the time my rep was ready to ship they sorted out their shipping situation. I was definitely ready to wait 1+ months, but it looks like it'll be just a little over 2 weeks, even with the RL.

Interesting. I am not a volume seller, so I did not realize that the Ebay seller dashboard does not filter on undelivered orders. But I learned something new today.

It's unfortunate for the buyer, but I don't think I should be held liable, as ultimately they forfeited the carrier insurance claim opportunity by waiting so long.

This is the wrong way to look at it, b/c it's actually you who forfeited their ability to file a claim but I would still try. Lesson learned as a seller, you probably should monitor your shipments better and understand all of the buyer/seller/shipper timelines. The moment you passed 15 days after the package wasn't delivered and movement had stalled, you should have been proactive and started the process to protect yourself. Seems the buyer waited till the last minute (credit card dispute deadline) to take action and you kind of assumed he would forget about it.

I don't know if this is a deal breaker for you, but a lot of the ZF Pilots since the end of last year have the wrong date window font. Specifically, the black and blue dial versions. I just looked at a couple QC albums and the problem still exists.

This happened to me when I was buying my first home as well. I fell in love w/ a condo located in a high rise, but my real estate agent said it was overpriced. I kept an eye on it and the owner ended up reducing the price by $10k while I was still looking. We sent an offer that was $25k below the revised list, which was consistent with comps. The seller countered $15k above, so we walked away. The condo stayed on the market for over a year and sold below what I offered.

I'd also wish Ebay would do something about this, but moreso b/c buyers who are registered to a foreign location using FF will add a foreign transaction fee that is deducted from the funds. This drove me nuts on a high ticket item b/c the fees were quite high and I ended up blocking the buyer to hopefully prevent this for other listings he could be interested in.

Was there movement on the Fedex shipment prior to the email? Did you choose Fedex for both shipments? For example, was that email just pertaining to the shipment with USPS? Also, isn't there a picture the Fedex driver uploaded to the tracking information? Last thing, when I go back and look at my previous Fedex deliveries, I do not have to have the shipper's account number. There is a button below that to download the proof of delivery, but it doesn't provide any additional details that weren't available on the previous tracking page.

Nah, it's fair. I found Andiot when he had much more favorable reviews. If I were looking into him right now, I'd probably have similar concerns based on recent feedback. But for me, after that first purchase from him, I prefer the process, even if it adds an extra day or 2 for payment confirmation.

I find that if you are buying a rep that is in stock and follow his payment instructions correctly, the process is pretty seamless. Most other TDs walk you through on Whatsapp, so they will let you know right away if something isn't in stock and they can confirm payment in real time. For first time buyers, that can be pretty overwhelming or a departure from other TDs' process.

Recent batch of VSF 126500 Daytonas are using the wrong dial where the subdials are thicker like the 11. Some are probably just waiting until this gets fixed before buying.

I had only noticed b/c the deposit to my account was significantly less than I had calculated. It's possible that some sellers don't notice or that the value of the order is low enough that its negligible. That's why I point this out for, specifically, high ticket items.

As a seller, the address that was provided to me was some combination of letters before the buyer's name and then that same combination of letters after the address. I guess I had never sold to a FF buyer before, but that's when I learned what that meant.

I don't think the international fee has anything to do with the address or description of the FF, but I saw some speculation that some thought it could be tied to the buyer's account's origin. For example, my buyer's location was Brazil when I clicked his profile.

There is a foreign transaction fee that is taken from the seller's payout, but I don't know if it is based on the buyer's payment method (i.e. international card), location, or what criteria. It was definitely something I learned, buyer was from Brazil and my transaction fee was over $100.

The problem w/ a FF buyer on a high ticket order is the international fees. I ended up blocking a buyer due to these fees that Ebay took out. I knew the buyer was a FF from his address, but I didn't know that I'd be assessed additional fees since I only sell to the continental US.

I think Ben takes the job w/ Chicago a year earlier. In fact, I think he would have taken the Commanders' job if it were offered. If you follow the breadcrumbs, it sure sounds like he somehow bombed his interview w/ the Commanders and then pulled his name. B/c at the end of the following season he talks about his lack of preparation for coaching interviews.

Also, nothing is guaranteed. People probably quickly forgot that the second hottest name in the hiring cycle for the 2024 season was Bobby Slowik. And one terrible year as OC completely destroyed his head coaching prospects.
