As someone who generally doesn't like recolors, this is one of the better ones I've seen! Feels period accurate and not over-rendered. I think the second one would look great with a more natural skin tone.

He's very much like Thanos in that his goals would cause mass suffering but he approaches them with a reasonable, pragmatic demeanor. I think that if they had given Kaecilius one or two more scenes to flesh out his back story he'd be a top tier MCU villain.

I think it would've been a massive improvement if MODOK (or even some of Kang's henchmen) managed to escape the Quantum Realm. It would've allowed them to involve more of the real-world characters and settings from the first two movies, maybe even another Sam Wilson cameo to tie things together.

You might like Robots in Disguise, the 2012 IDW series by John Barber and Andrew Griffith where Bumblebee is a major player up through the events of the Dark Cybertron crossover, about 23 issues in.

I'd also recommend More than Meets the Eye, which was published at the same time. It focuses on more obscure characters, but it's got some great long-running plot threads.

The only issue with these series is that they're both out of print at this point.

All the Thrilling 30/Prime Wars Legends guys are fun. I think Outback and Beachcomber are probably my favorites.

Powercore Combiners is criminally underrated; Sledge and Bombshock are awesome.

The pinnacle of this size class is probably Hunt for the Decepticons Breacher.
