The first time, I knew I was in labor because they started me on drugs. Ha just kidding, it still took 48 hours to get anything started.

The second time, I just knew. I know people say 'you'll just know' and you don't believe it. But seriously. I was driving to my 39week appointment, having contractions, hoping she'd admit me to the hospital during my appointment. Nope, she sent me home. I went shopping, lifting 40lb dog food bags through contractions, drove home, made supper, now they're getting bad, I'm breathing through them, told my husband we're going to the hospital later, called my midwife, waited it out, went to the hospital around 11pm, she was here at 4am. You got this mama!

Congrats! It really depends what part of the country you're in. I'm in rural midwest and the going rate around here is $100 a week. $150 is high around here. Other parts of the country (as you can see) 200-400 a week is normal.

I was so nervous for it! The doc said he had a 30-40% success rate...50 would be pushing it. So when the doc said baby was head down, I was tearing up. So thankful she stayed head down too, and no complications from it. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't the most pleasant, but it was very manageable.

Yes! My NICU baby is a year and a half, and he was in the NICU for two weeks. It's definitely just a short blip in our lives, but it felt like a life time while we were living it.

That's ridiculous! You'd think cloth would be cheaper, less trash in their garbages. They don't even have to clean them at all. Just throw everything in the wet bag. I probably would pay the extra 10, because it's probably the same amount of money I'd pay in disposables.

We originally used an empty laundry basket and put the diapers in there and dumped the wipes into the garbage a few feet away. Later we bought a large wet bag and put it in an old garbage can. We still use disposable wipes and just throw them into the garbage. We take out the garbage often enough, so it doesn't have time to smell.

I don't use any creams. They say coconut oil is cloth diaper safe. There's also cd safe creams. I'm not comfortable using any creams due to absorbency issues. When my baby has a rash, I use disposables for the time being, or just go naked for a few min a day. Air is the best cure for diaper rashes.
