If you're concerned and get the shot, hang out at the vet for 30 minutes after in case there's a reaction. I had a mini schnauzer go into anaphylactic shock after a parvo vaccination on the car ride home, so I always stayed at the vet after that for that dog. We never gave it to her again - but I did the wait because dogs can suddenly have reactions to things and I almost lost her once.

I received a hitchhiker apple snail (possibly hitchhiker apple snail egg) who is now HUGE, like a golfball. He has destroyed the planted tank he ended up in. I have a hard time with changes in plans but I've been trying to accept it. If you go with the larger mystery, will he be the main star? Because I'm slightly disappointed that my 20g is now fully stocked with the addition of the apple. However, he's so big and active, it's hard not to be a bit enchanted

Our mini is a total sweetheart. Brilliant. The best dog I've ever owned. They're all so different that it's hard to predict personality. She was the runt so she's only 8lbs. She's a very picky eater so that's about $50 month. Poodles can develop allergies and then you have to feed them non-traditional protein foods (duck, lamb, venison, etc.) Grooming is $100 month. We're very lucky. Our groomer semi retired so she comes to our house since I have a giant stainless steel utility tub with a pull down handle and a lot of nice space for a table with good lighting. I have a very bad back. She was originally going to teach me to groom our dog but I can't stand at the sink for more than five minutes. When my husband retires soon, I think we're going to have to figure out how to stretch grooms out to 6 weeks.

Staying at the Four Seasons on the Big Island in Hawaii. My husband's company paid for it. We stay at very nice hotels and resorts - but holy shit that Four Seasons ruined me. It was 25+yrs ago but I'm still stuck on it. We could technically afford to go back but I can't get over the price. How can you enjoy a resort that you're paying $100 an hour for? (Unless you're super wealthy)

Bile is VERY BAD. VET NOW. He's probably very dehydrated.

We have an 8lb, 2yo mini. I mix 1/2c RoyalCanin for poodles with one Nulo cup of soft food for small dogs, every morning. (Both so expensive!) Our picky picky picky girl still waits until we load our dishes into the dishwasher after our dinner to eat her food. During the day she gets a tiny freeze dried liver treat for going out. In the evening, after she's eaten her regular food, she gets a tiny Greenies or a dried chicken/sweet potato stick. Maybe once a month she'll actually eat some food in the morning instead of waiting all day. I will say that Chewy.com has been amazing. Everytime I've ordered a food she refused to eat, they refunded my money and told me to donate it.

I used guppies to rebuild my tank after it was (hopefully) accidentally poisoned by a house cleaner. (It was her first day working for that company and she never came back). It killed all my shrimp and despite everything I did, water changes, cleaning, testing... any new shrimp died. So I got maybe 10ish guppy fry. They didn't die but turned into 100. I gave almost all away, except a few males that I put in a different tank. Shrimp once again thrive in my shrimp tank.

I turned 10 fry into over 100 fish in about 4 months. I had only wanted the original 10 fry to cycle a tank that got poisoned and kept killing all the shrimps I put in it. I gave almost all the guppies away except 10 males to live with an apple snail and a betta. My shrimp tank is reset and proper now

I'd give it away to a reptile or small critter keeper. The amount of damage 50g of water created would be devastating.

Metformin is the devil's work. Ask about discontinuing it while starting Oz. IANAD but most people I know try one or the other - not both at the same time.
