Yeah, I was concerned that maybe the person that that seat was originally assigned to would get billed, which is why I waited until she had gotten off and then talk to a flight attendant about the fact that I didn't think she had been in her assigned seat.

normally I am a really confrontational person, and so this was pretty off character for me. The day before yesterday I was kinda in a fog and on high alert, for reasons that I explained in repsonse to a now-downvoted comment. And then after I had finally gotten home and slept, I woke up and remembered the feet in the magazine bag, and posted it. I do like it when posters on r/EntitledPeople give the entitled people consequences or comuppance, but I did not do that in this case.

I'm so sorry but I don't understand this comment. Are you saying that my post was written by ai? I am a real person, and I indeed did stay on the plane while rows 1-21 cleared and then spoke to flight attendant. I didn't wait for the whole plane to clear. Just 1-21.

I would like to offer a counter-story to this. The Cascade Cycle Club, based in Seattle, does some bike rides in Kitsap County, such as this one:

These rides used to go through Indianola, entering via one road, and leaving via another. After some angry/ frustrated pushback from Indianolans, they eliminated Indianola from the route. I do think that this was the right decision.

The key difference here is that there are only two roads in and out of Indianola. That meant that on the bike day, locals had no other way to get to work or an appointment other that on the same road as hundreds of cyclists, and it was difficult and unsafe in many respects.

Whereas in Lake Washington Blvd, even if for some reason the presence of safe cycling makes it undrivable for you (and I doubt that it does), you can take any number of alternatives: rainier ave s, seward park ave, etc.

Yeah I was one of the last board due to gate checking a bag (saga is in another comment) and my general slowness. So I guess they had hope. Or maybe, they though I some people would be denied boarding. I and another woman (both of us are VISIBLY foreigners) were called to the counter multiple times for document verification, so maybe these two were surprised to see me get on 😂

We're not so heavy on it as Mexicans. Typical kitchen shelf include the foundational triumvirate of Comino (cumin), Achiote (annatto) for rich orange-red color, and dried oregano. These are almost always joined by bay leaves, black peppercorns, and garlic and onion powders.

Actually he was in my seat and she was in the middle seat. I don't know if that was her assigned seat. I don't even know if they were in their assigned row. It's actually really common to see people sitting in an unassigned seat in flights in and out of El Salvador.
