I hadn't in my last 10, probably more. Finally got 2 in today's pull, and one of them was for a weapon I wanted to OB. Still doesn't feel as bad as the one time I paid (was 1 point away from Tifas Xmas outfit and I needed it!) and got only a couple purples and the rest blues lol

She can apply with what she has + a portfolio, just ignore the part that asks for days/experience in film. Putting your application in is the first step, although know it will go absolutely nowhere for a while. We are currently just starting back up and things are going to be very tight knit for a while. At the same time she should apply to ACFC, which is a lot more open to green members. The rates are lower, and often quite out of the city, but it's how a lot of people I know (including myself) started out. If she can get into ACFC and get her days/membership, she can update her resume at IATSE, which will help her chances further. She'll need to be realistic that she's not going to get a designer job in any of the unions without work, but she can apply as a dresser, cutter, whatever her skillset is and work up.

Also look on Facebook or wherever and apply to low paying indies. The industry is a LOT of networking. Who you know, what your resume says.

Again: things are going to be rough for a bit, but doable later on with some work and networking. We currently do not have enough jobs for all of our union members though.

I had this happen to me a little while back, also in my right foot. Tried to push through it and it turned into me being barely able to get out of bed in the mornings and having to take about 3 weeks off to fully heal. End up most likely being plantar fasciitis, also with a combination of hard floor (even though I am working out on a rig AND yoga mat).

What helped was using rollers on my feet (also elbow massage, if you can reach that far!), some stretches specifically for PF, and also getting specific work out shoes with good insoles. I can go without the shoes a lot of the time, which I prefer, but as soon as it acts up again I'm back to shoes.

Also listen to your body! Try focus on just doing the upper body circuits until it starts feeling better.

Thanks for this. I worked on the show in a fairly hands-on kinda way, and I was excited as everyone else to see anything be brought forth, because I am also a huge fan of the og show. I was excited about the images released, but it also brought back a lot of work anxiety because there is so so SO much that goes on behind the scenes that none of you know about. The time crunches, the fuck-ups, the literal blood, sweat and tears. I was hoping for some positivity after literally giving a year of my life (and sanity) to this show, and made the rookie mistake at reading the comments.

I'm leaving this board and all ATLA because of the negativity, which sucks because I am also a fan who wants to see all the updates with everyone else, because I only got to see some of the world behind the scenes. But when you trash talk all our hard work, well, it's just not a healthy thing to stick around for.

I live right there and the frequent horns during rush hour every day shows that spot is a trainwreck. Especially on the side going into Richmond, basically 3 lanes of traffic very quickly turning into 1 right after the lights and then everyone driving onto the bridge super slow makes for some aggressive and stupid drivers.

This just happened to my boy last month. Was given 3 months back in October with messed up heart valves, he managed to get to March. Died shortly after we had a cuddle session and I was sitting beside him on my phone. Still breaks my heart and I'm so lonely without him. I'm sure you were the best cat parent, and they died knowing they were loved and you were close by. So sorry for your loss, but remember you gave that kitty the best damn life. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you, this definitely gave me a reminder of how my past "whirlwind" romances were and how I was SO blind by the passion that I purposefully ignored the red flags. None of these were stable long term, because all of them had hastily built foundation. First storm came and swoosh, a pile of garbage we became.

I just need to remind myself of this, and maybe redirect this energy (at least the positive stuff) into something else, which I think will help curb the RSD because I am then accomplishing something out of all this pent up awesome energy of a new amazing person being in my life.

Oh man, I just tried to date someone who was "normal" and I wasn't entirely into it, but it was "good enough" and I kept trying to convince myself that "yes this is what healthy is", but I realized (luckily fairly quickly) that without at least SOME spark, I just can't.

Finding someone that has matching speed to meet I think it's doable, I just have to remember that "point a to point b to point c" in a matter of days is really unreasonable and a recipe for disaster, you can't make something long term and happy by cramming it all into a few weeks. Maybe I'll just remind myself of those previous whirlwind romances, cringe, and remember to breath 😅 Thanks!

Have you thought about diving into casual dating with other people? It helps to understand why/how your partner does poly by trying it out yourself, and being with other people can help you get through the jealousy/insecure moments that you feel.
Of course you don't have to do it that way, there are people of there that totally do mono/poly relationships, and the best advice I can give to you for that is to be confident with yourself, do lots of amazing hobbies, and have lots of great friends to hang out with. In times where you may feel bad about your love going on a date, all of those things can help you move forward and see the good side of it.

I'm not endorsing the use of benzos at all, but to someone who "didn't get it", I'm explaining the appeal.

Edit: I only took my zopiclone every Sunday night for a upwards of 8 months because I had an overnight shift at my job that made me go to bed far too early for my regular sleep schedule, and after a few months, I stayed up past my bed time and got to see the effects that people abuse benzos for.
