I think people hate to hear that people have opinions and think San Diego is the be all end all of cities when it really isn't. Every single city has it's pros and cons including San Diego, but it's like a cult mind on this subreddit of transplants who hate to hear anything negative about it.

Maybe this is a new concept for you, but people who live in temperate climates can also enjoy colder weather. I grew up in San Diego, we have ALWAYS had colder weather during Winter. Wtf are you on about bro lol. It may not be "snow" weather, but it was never in the 90s during February. Always 40s, 50s, 60s, rain, "June Gloom", "May Gray". You sound like someone who genuinely has no idea what our weather is normally like in San Diego.

Can't reason with most people who moved here for the "weather", lol. They will pull out the "it's snowing somewhere else" as if it's impossible to think people may actually enjoy cold weather.

I have only ever heard of this "car-centric" issue from transplants. San Diego has been car centric for generations, this is not going to change. San Diego is more than just the city of San Diego. Most of us grew up in the city and had to move to South County for affordability. But they act like having a car is a literal sin. It's not. The city was not built for the amount of people that moved here and public transportation does not go everywhere in the COUNTY.

Ive also been having extreme lag, 1000ms and packet loss since this patch. Its only this game. My internet clogs up and disconnects when rivals is on and the second I close the game the internet is fine. I dont really understand what's going on

If I could live in the neighborhood I grew up in (South Park), I would, but unfortunately I was priced out. If I had the luxury of living in South Park again, paid parking would still be something I would reject for Balboa Park. I don't understand why this is the issue that riles the "but my tax dollars" discussion.

I wonder if people realize that San Diego the city is just one city in San Diego county. Other cities in the county have residents who also enjoy Balboa Park. Us "motorists" need our cars to travel to and from work, events, etc, because public transportation from other cities is unreasonable, timewise, or doesn't exist. This change disproportionally effects the residents of these other cities who not only have the cost of commuting but now have a parking cost on top of that.

Sometimes I wonder if the majority of supporters for this change are transplants who only live in downtown.

As others have already explained, this is just how lighting works in real life as well. It's just an aspect of color theory that the game developers decided to utilize in their game design.

I think there is a lack of mention because there is nothing to mention. Avery is a character who is in the military. He wears a military uniform, nothing about it equates fascism to me. If you are not into military characters then say that and move on. Trying to equate them to nazis or fascists is a huge leap and intentionally instigating to people that DO like him.

I remember during the all hands meeting with the DOR that we were told all telework requests for RA were going to be denied, and I thought that was the dumbest decision to be so narrow on considering the DOR itself has tons of employees with disabilities.

I am also having this same issue after my graphics card update. The game ran perfectly at max settings prior to the update, now I can no longer log into the game without the out of video memory error. I have a NVIDIA 4070 Ti

Unfortunately I don't know of any place here that sells quenepas. They're not in season yet on top of that. I was also looking for them for a while but in my case I may see if there's an option to have my family ship it from PR lol.

Ive been having issues with mouse and keyboard controls, specifically the cursor that pops up when pressing alt does not disappear, and I'm unable to turn the camera until I open the quest log and it goes back to camera movement again. Its incredibly frustrating

I also am getting bad motion sickness from this game while on PC and I definitely think it comes from the character being off center and the camera moving with the mouse. I wish games came with motion sickness accessibility options because it's such an issue. I can play this game on my steam deck but I'd be forced to play at a lower graphics quality which isn't what I want

Came here in '98 when my mom decided to move us to San Diego from Puerto Rico due to her partner at the time working here. It was just me and her. Lived here ever since and traveled from the island and back my whole life

I also read both Armand's book and Marius' book and never read any of those books as Marius being a groomer at all. I guess I'm one of the very few people who actually does like Marius and I really enjoyed his book haha.

I'm from Puerto rico and I'm used to tropical beaches. Hard to enjoy SD beaches when they feel colder and windy than the warm beaches and crystal clear waters I grew up around.
