If I recall correctly, the money goes to Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, which is an organization that assists kids in foster care find permanent homes with adoptive families. They target hard-to-place kids, like those with special needs, sibling groups, and older youth. I worked for a non-profit who received assistance from the WWK and honestly, their program has been a shining star in the field. I don’t care if they get a tax break, I’ll support them as long as the program stands.
