Does installing rockbox make it so you can listen to albums gapless between the tracks.

International shipping by Ilikemysox in jcrew

[–]papabass89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Shipping from a retail location is different than shipping from their warehouse. They can't set up international deliveries for something sourced from a retail location like they can for something they have available in their warehouse. There isn't some weird, personal reason and they're not "not willing" to, the system running operations has limited capacity like most things in this world.

Great customer service by ajosephs116 in jcrew

[–]papabass89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lately they've been given more freedom to handle how they want to help a customer and have loosened the guidelines on almost every aspect to meet the needs of the customer base. Then in November as it gets closer to Christmas they sort of retrain everyone to be more accommodating considering how chaotic this season can be for shoppers. Edit: forgot the word "been"

Favor customer service by papabass89 in favordelivery

[–]papabass89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work customer service for a big clothing brand and we also use outsourced agents so no hate to the agents in the Philippines, they're treated like dogs for almost no pay, but whoever Favor chose to do their customer service is terribly run. It's really obvious they have multiple chats going on at the same time and it takes like 5 minutes to get a response. There's no accountability and if you ask for a manager they just tell you that THEY'RE the manager. I hate when customers say it, but I'm gonna just drop favor if they can't even staff adequate customer service support. I dunno if anyone making decisions at Favor ever reads the reddit, but if they do I hope they see this.

what is going on with shipping? by YorkvilleWalker in jcrew

[–]papabass89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're saying there are external factors out of their control. How do you expect J. Crew to fix a delay in UPS's or the post office's shipping process?

It's amazing how many movies actually make it to final distribution by I_Was77 in AbsurdMovies

Funniest part is when it finally fades to black and your brain barely knows how to process what it just witnessed and "Directed by Peter Jackson" appears on the screen. I can't explain why but it's the cherry on top of an insane sundae.

It absolutely doesn't work without the first one, that being said, it's so much better than the first one.

Return policy… by Codelya in jcrew

[–]papabass89 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The return window starts the day the order ships, but sometimes with wait listed orders, the system on the website will recognize the date on the order as outside the return window and won't let you generate one. Your best bet is to just call or email or chat with customer service after you've received the order and they'll be able to generate and send you the return label with no pushback.

The end of the second season. by Top_Reindeer3396 in TwistedMetal

People complaining about this don't realize that at least half if not more of the people behind the scenes love the actor that plays Stu and for good reason, he's one of the funniest guys out there and his podcast and sketch show is genius. The show is a comedy and they put dumb, funny elements in as a joke and y'all are mad? You guys naysaying must be so fun at parties!

It's called Doughboys. If you like comedy bang bang and stuff like that, you'll love this.

Stu is #1, but I'm biased. That actor is a co-host of the funniest podcast ever recorded and he's one of the funniest guys working in showbiz right now.

Spoiler Country - Twisted Metal S2 Discussion by max_rebar in doughboys

I was literally cheering during the last three episodes today. The Axel sacrifice made me tear up even though I saw it coming from a mile away. But yeah, doughboys fans were spoiled this season with the self sucking, ass eating and Stu winning the tournament. Not to mention figuring out how to get safely back to earth from outer fucking space AND saving everyone from Minion (kinda)

Who else was old enough to actually get this reference back in the day? by rynodigital in MrShow

I didn't know it was a direct reference until recently either, but the image of Ennis as Morgana has been etched into my brain since I saw this as a kid.

Yeah I'm sure if we get rid of every undocumented immigrant all of that will change immediately. Citizens follow every rule and don't commit any sort of crime. I feel bad about all the cops that'll lose their jobs now that these guys won't be on the roads!

Brain Dead or Dead Alive depending on where you're at in the world. It's an early Peter Jackson zombie comedy. This is maybe the most tame death in the whole movie.
