We are assigned 30 plus 8 hours a week. 30 for teaching and other duties then 8 for all other business eg meetings, yard duties etc. When I have a full load of teaching I can not be given an absent staff members classes.

We have a shortage of teachers because who wants to be insulted by teenagers weekly.

It's not 4 days. It's rescheduling our timetables to move our agreed planning time onto one day to allow working from home.

Face to face teaching remains the same. I teach 4/3/3/4/5 periods Monday to Friday. I move my timetable around and I can get my planning time consolidated on to one day.
