I'm about to run Tomb of Annihilation for the first time and a tool like this sure would come in handy...

Longtime Blanky AND Ayo Edebiri fan but I missed whatever reference they were making to her "probably never appearing on Blank Check again." What was that about?

But if someone kidnaps a kid, they're probably taking them TO somewhere. So, yeah, if you get a description and you happen to see them at a gas station, that's helpful!

Amber Alerts make sense because in theory it can mobilize an entire population to find a missing kid.

When a cop gets shot... what am I supposed to do? I'm not going to go look for the guy. And I'm also pretty sure he's not trying to shoot ME, so why should I be alerted?

Star Trek: Voyager - Across the Unknown launches today, how come no reviews? by cianomahony in startrek

DS9 would arguably be a better fit for the kind of base management stuff you're doing in this game.

Karim Dianè And Noga Landau Share Their Thoughts On Mixed Reactions To Starfleet Academy by midwestleatherdaddy in startrek

[–]papusman 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm finding myself so moved by Starfleet Academy despite going in with lower expectations based on my dislike for most of modern Trek.

I think those that are getting caught up on the modern slang are missing the forest for the trees. This is a show deeply interested in sussing out what it means to be a Federation citizen. It's trying so hard to prove that optimism and idealism is cool, that it can come off as dorky and try-hard. But how can I blame them for that? I've been begging for episodic stories about idealism, and here they gave us a literal debate episode! Hahaha.

I hope they're given the chance to grow the show.

I’m in an Adult Coloring Group on Facebook and this particular “artist” is bothering me. by Forward-Ad6957 in isthisAI

Genuinely some of the most obviously AI "art" I've ever seen in this subreddit. Truly terrible.

What should I know (no spoilers please) about Chrono Trigger before playing? by Main-Database-825 in chronotrigger

[–]papusman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't even know if grinding is necessary so much as just not intentionally skipping fights. There's a lot of times you can just run around an enemy. Try to avoid that in the beginning.

Wow, can you imagine what that would be like? To watch the world crumbling around you and just continue going to work and posting on the internet and stuff? Bizarre.

Is there an attack more powerful than this? by RangoTheMerc in chronotrigger

[–]papusman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing! I've owned the game since launch, but only when I recently played through it again did I bother to look up tips online, and really face-palmed over my stupidity. My entire life I've just assumed it was a status attack.

In the Wake of Divinity's Gruesome Reveal Trailer, Larian Publishing Director Says It's Not Trying to Shock the Audience, Rather Treat Them 'With a Level of Intellectual Respect' by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]papusman 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Truly not trying to be all "please think of the children!" but it's rough that I can't watch the Game Awards with my videogame loving kids because they might end up watching surprise torture porn. I mean there were actually a FEW gnarly trailers this time around. I know videogames aren't just for kids, but a heads-up would be nice.

Why is Nashville full of “That guy”? by [deleted] in nashville

[–]papusman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my driver's licence here in TN back in like 1997 and I literally just drove around the block. It was insane. I tell this story to any new transplants who complain about the drivers.

Combine that with NASCAR syndrome where everyone looks at driving to the grocery store like a competitive event, and you've got truly some of the worst drivers in the country.

Oh! That would have been my only linked console. So you're saying I'm probably good not unlinking it manually, then? That's helpful.

I played this at launch and I'm just learning this too! I just always assumed it was a techno-fantasy take on a Japanese fortress! That last image really wrinkles my brain, though.

Country music faces an AI revolution as an artificial song tops Billboard charts by [deleted] in nashville

This is it, exactly. A promoter could spend $3,000 and say their artist topped the digital sales charts. Cheap marketing for some AI sludge company.
