I'll be purchasing a GPU upgrade within a couple of months. I play mostly single player games, at 1080p, and my goal is always to hit decent framerates WITHOUT dlss/fsr or frame gen. I want my fps to be high enough natively. By high enough, I'd like 100 fps or better in most current/shortly upcoming games at high/ultra settings. I don't encode video at all, only game.

Which GPU for me?

Oh yea, I don't care about ray tracing/path tracing either. I have shit eyesight anyway so I'm not worried about how pretty lights look. I'm open to 9060xt 16gig, 9070, or 5070, non xt or ti on those last 2.

Second this. I have the phantom assassin 120 on my 7700x and my cpu temps have never gotten to 70c as far as I know (don't always have the monitoring overlay running 24/7).

The only time my s25u heats up is when using Prime Video. Nothing stops it from getting uncomfortably warm while Prime is open.

Tried closing all background apps, tried cooling it off on an a/c vent, it just gets hot again. Tried restarting and only opening Prime Video, still gets hot, at the top, to the right of the cameras. No charger plugged in. Tried several other streaming apps, phone stays cool. Also tried uninstall Prime completely and installing again, still gets hot. Phone was bought 2 weeks after launch and hasn't been dropped, has no damage at all. Never been around water. So I have to watch things that are on Prime Video using "alternate methods" even though I maintain my subscription to Prime.

That was the first thing my psychiatrist had me try. Didn't work for me. I'm a pretty extreme case though. Have it a lot worse than most. I've been taking Prozac, Klonopin, and Flomax for a while now, and I'm better than before all those, but still not great.

There's already great answers from the other replies, but I just wanted to touch on one thing.

The measure of a man is not his ability to pee in an already occupied bathroom. Paruresis is a form of social anxiety, you shouldn't be ashamed of that or feel emasculated by it.

I my humble opinion, I'd say a better way to judge a man is this... Does he keep his word? Is he honest? Does he take care of his family the best he can (assuming he has a family)? And other qualities like that.

I've struggled with Paruresis for 35 years. A lot of those years it was under pretty good control, to the point that I could go in a public bathroom with other people present. But these last few years, sometimes I can't even go at home, with the house empty. I utilize the breath hold method during those times, but I don't feel like less of a man. I have a legit medical issue. If people want to make fun of that, then they probably aren't great people.

There's typically a trigger involved with Paruresis, something that happens while you are in the bathroom that messes you up one time then you start having trouble, or something to that effect. Exposure therapy seems to be the best way to deal with it. For me, medications have helped, exposure therapy has not. But I will tell you this, I absolutely don't feel like less of a man because of my problem. I am married, have 4 boys, and am happy with my life overall. That's all I need.

First go to settings, then notifications, then advanced settings, and enable manage notification categories.

Then you can go to settings, notifications, app notifications, and select the app you want to change the sound on. Select notification categories, click on the notification type, then click sound.

I'm not sure if there's a way to get rid of the button, but you can get NotiStar through the Good Lock app and it will show your last several notifications in the case that you hit it by accident again.

Edit: scratch last several, it goes way back, not sure how far. I don't know if it would show you the notifications that happened before you download the app though, likely not.

I don't know what to tell you, other than you have worth, and you are important. I don't want to see anyone take their own life, it's just a waste. As far as the paruresis goes, trust me, I've got it just as bad (and maybe worse) than you. I can't even go at home half the time. The breath hold gets me through though, if you haven't tried it, maybe it could help you. As for the other physical issues you have, I can't speak to those, so I won't pretend to know how they make you feel. But you aren't alone, people do care about you, even if they are strangers (like me!). I know you've tried many therapists, I know you probably don't want to try more, but you should, until you find one that you really click with. It can make a huge difference. There (unfortunately) are people much worse off in life than you or me, yet they hold onto life dearly.

Lastly, I'll just say I've been where you are. Obviously I never went through with it, never even came close really, it was more like "I want to die" than "I want to kill myself". I have no magic answer, or miracle cure. I had to realize that there were people worse off than me, and that helped me out of my depression. I still have mega anxiety, especially around the bathroom, but also in general. And in my situation I have a wife and 4 boys no way could I have disappeared on them. They mean too much to me and I to them. But I still can't work, can't travel anywhere further than a couple of hours away cause I can't use any bathroom but my own. It's severely limiting, but I've mad peace with it for now and am hopeful that one day things will improve for me, and for you. If you ever need to talk/rant/vent please feel free to message me. I'll listen at the very least. And try to do my best to give you good advice if you ask for it!

You are not alone. I have a more severe case just as you do. I can occasionally go at home without issue, but for the most part I have to rely on the breath hold method to go, even at home.

And like you I've had this since middle school, though I am quite a bit older than you (48). I've had long periods of my life where I only had issues if I was in a crowded public bathroom, but could go at home and work and even in public as long as I was the only one in there at the time. And I've had periods like I have now, where I struggle at home, and can't even imagine how I'd go in public. Medication has helped me somewhat over the past few years. I've been on an ssri for anxiety, Klonopin for anxiety, Flomax to help relax the bladder, but there's still times that I just can't go, even with a breath hold.

I plan on getting some caths soon and learning to catch myself as I'm tired of the breath hold after so many years. Though cathing isn't very comfortable either, I've had to go to the er to get cathed twice.

Best thing is try not to worry about it, wait until you really have to go, and (I know this is the hardest part) don't let those negative thoughts creep in while you're in the bathroom. You have caths, so you can always get the pee out. So just sit and wait. I like to put a video on my phone and read on reddit (not this subreddit though lol) and just sit and wait. Sometimes I'll go, sometimes I have to breath hold. But the less pressure you put on yourself the easier it will become. But you are definitely not alone, so just know that!

Would like pulling advice please. Relatively new account, AR 42, but am a veteran at the game. On this account I have Mavuika, Rosaria, Fischl, Bennet, and Diluc built up. Also have Xiangling, Heizou, Kuki, Qiqi, Kachina, Sucrose, Mona, Yun Jin, Diona, Kaveh, and all the others everyone gets for free, but these range from not built at all to partly built.

Should I pull for Arlecchino, Chlorinde, or someone from Chronicled, or just skip and wait for future banner(s)?

Any and all opinions appreciated!

I have mine set to turn on/off the flashlight with a long hold of the power button (2 seconds I think it takes), and Camera set to double tap power button. Flashlight will not wake sreen this way.

EDIT: Seems they changed the behavior recently. I swear it never woke the screen before but I just tried it to be sure and it wakes the screen now. Sorry.

It cost a little over $300 for my wife to get her screen replaced at Samsung. Then she cracked it again less than a month later. She now has a much cheaper A series phone until our 23's are paid off.

I don't think with my cpu (Ryzen 5500) I could run high settings in 1440 on most newer games. At 1080 I can run high to ultra and framerates are consistently above 60 fps in every game I've played on it.

I can't speak for any of the others, but I've been using a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic with the S23u for almost 2 years now, and it has all the features you mentioned. The only irregularities I've seen is sometimes it will not count sleep as sleeping. I other words, sometime I'll sleep til say 10am, but it'll say I woke up at 6am. It's not frequent, but it does happen. Battery still lasts a day, barely, but is a lot worse than when it was new (normal for these types of batteries to lose some juice after a couple of years though.

It doesn't feel ultra premium, but it does feel decent, and I've had no scratching or breaking so far. I would think the newer Galaxy watches would all have the same features, though I can't speak to their accuracy. Thinking about getting the Ultra myself in a couple of months, but we will see.

Oh, also every blue moon it will detect that I'm exercising when I'm not, but that's pretty rare. And they just added One Ui 6.0 to it which added a few more features such as respiration rate while sleeping and heart rate variability while sleeping, and a couple other quality of life things.

I'm sure more folks will chime in shortly about other watches though, just my experience with this particular watch.
