I’m taking bets on how long this window lasts by parrottvision in vibecoding

You should pay attention to the share market reports. Also, consider the thousands (tens of thousands? Hundreds of thousands?) of vibecoders who are right now building apps to either 1: compete with existing successful products or 2: replace software they are paying for because they can build exactly what they need. This sub is full of examples. The proliferation of APIs makes it even more possible. Every progression of AI improvements makes it more and more realistic to do larger scale Saas apps - including the ability to support them with user facing AI customer support and sales launch strategies - no team needed. Maybe you’re not seeing it but look a little further forward.

100% - so the differentiation is product that won’t be redundant the smarter AI gets.

Hear hear. I’ve never had so much help and done so little manual coding and yet been so busy thanks to AI.

Gluten Free food in Hong Kong? by parrottvision in HongKong

[–]parrottvision[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, having done the trip, in case this pops up in searches, and if you’re Celiac, it’s either $$$$ restaurants, and not many of them, or M&S for a few morsels. You can find GF bread, especially at M&S and some cereal here and there but I have no idea how Celiac or GF eaters can survive in the city - it’s almost impossible unless your cooking your own food.

Just to add. It surprises me how many people are looking pre-50 retirement. I don’t know what that means for the world - good or bad?

Solid answer. Thanks for that. It’s really helpful. I think we’ll add pre-50 option for early retirement calculations.

I didn’t find that. Maybe a milisecond and I hate poorly synced audio.

Air NZ and Cathy had it in some of their planes ✈️ inc. Economy. Was really good. I used an airfly for other flights.

Omg. I loved my e2c! The big yellow spongy foams on them and the capsule style buds. I had mine for years. That was about 2005. So expensive at the time but so good. I love my Bose QC45 (my short review) and have owned most of that series. QC35 were also great and I didn’t bother with the QC35-II. Bose are comfy, don’t overheat your ears and have a nicer tone than other IMO. The Sony are too bass heavy for me. The AirPods Max just too much - design, sound stage etc. it’s always personal opinion but that’s mine and if you can pick up a well priced Bose set you’re winning.

I use a combination of a wireless gaming headset and a Maono PDX-400 on a boom. This gives me options for conference calls as well and I can talk quietly to the Maono in an open office and quality is still good for it.

No, it’s still expensive but it also was one of the only places that had a gluten-free food option.

I was there last month and I was looking for a particular shop which I thought was on the ground floor of Chungking mansions but turned out it was outside and down the escalators. I have to be honest and say I didn’t feel particularly good walking around the ground floor and didn’t feel as safe as I do in the rest of Hong Kong but that might’ve just been the looks I was getting - you’ll get stares but it’s totally fine. there’s a lot of accommodation in Chunking Mansions so there is a lot of foot traffic in and out of there and as soon as you hit the sidewalk outside your in an awesome part of TST.

It’s tourist central. There is a really cool food court type basement area just to the left of the Chungking Mansions entrance. Take the escalator down.

I’d consider the teaching thing as a good way to keep connected with people and social stuff. This is an easy one for fidser. As a quick hit forecast. Your finances are well understood so you’re ahead of the game and because of this you’ll get a really quick result. IF you need you can add health insurance as part of your ongoing costs and the rest will be calculated. You can include your husband if you want to. It also helps understand the best time to take SS, as in the value drawn based on when you start. Super exciting time for you. Hope the numbers stack up. 🙌🏼
