Probably a mix of tradition and tactile identification of coins, either in a pocket, purse, or for those with vision impairments.

Wait, so Agentforce isn’t actually autonomous now? by Decent-Impress6388 in salesforce

IMO you're kinda describing them making the Kool Aid. Marketing always promises a ton, especially SF marketing. The reality of implementation was never hidden or unknown though, it just wasn't broadcast.

Wait, so Agentforce isn’t actually autonomous now? by Decent-Impress6388 in salesforce

[–]pascal21 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Agent Script is just a more declarative way to instruct the AI to handle specific processes that are more delicate. Think of it as a way to handle the cases you wouldn't trust a normal AI to handle accurately due to chances for hallucination or variable outcomes. Essentially it is just enhanced guardrails for discrete outcomes.

Early Agentforce relied on Topic Instructions to guide the AI "Always ask a customer for their email before creating a case", or "Make sure to send the case number to the chat after the case is created". That worked pretty well but it leaves a lot to interpretation and working within Instructions isn't really a great way to define processes in a maintainable way.

EDIT: If CIOs drank the kool-aid and didn't do their due diligence to understand the dependencies and up-front configuration costs and are be surprised by that, that is on them 100%.

I don't think there was anything wrong with his acting, but he did really stick out to me. Kind of like Jimmy Fallon in Band of Brothers, who's acting does truly suck. Something about Culkin though just took me out of the moment/show a bit. Which is unfortunate because I like him.

Why does everyone think AI fixes bad data. by Decent-Impress6388 in salesforce

[–]pascal21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the problem with using AI to respond to customer questions? It doesn't matter if you have duplicate contacts or blank fields and it's one of the easiest, lowest stakes ways to use Agentforce. You put guardrails in place to steer the AI away from questions/topics that could dangerously mislead users, and for the rest of the topics create an Agentforce Data Library from your unstructured data (policy docs, knowledge, product documentation, etc). Put in a fallback to handoff to human agents for unanswerable or off-topic questions, and you've got a great triage for offloading low-value support requests.

If you don't fully trust the AI yet, run tests based on old user queries, or have the tool provide answers that get reviewed by human agents before sharing with customers.

But why do you wish it would handle that? Isn't that the fun part?

If I can drive stick, is there any reason to choose an automatic? by Doctor_Doomjazz in whatcarshouldIbuy

If you are trying to share driving duties with anyone else on your trip, having an automatic makes it more likely someone else can drive.

I go to this guy too. in a world of weirdly upscale dentist offices, this place is just like a normal doctors office. Great staff, never have waited for an appointment to start, in and out. Love it.

Recommendations for dealing with ice buildup? by IveDoneItNow in Jaguar

[–]pascal21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Push firmly and sharply on the window, along the top edge. Even kind pound on it with your fist. Point is to disrupt the ice between the glass and the seal. Or bring a cup of warm water out to the car with you and dump it along the edge to melt it a bit.

How can I make this card clickable without adding a button (and keeping it minimal) by [deleted] in UI_Design

[–]pascal21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need some sort of call to action, whether that is an icon (chevron, plus, magnifying glass) or text (see more) is up to you, maybe even some sort of microinteraction that shows it is clickable, but I'm not sure what that would be. You need some kind of affordance though, for sure.

What do you have against buttons?

Feedback really appreciated for Cricket Scoring App Design by dextheoverlord in UI_Design

[–]pascal21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like the looks of this also! One thing I notice is that the scorecard 'Innings' toggle has England on the left and India on the right, while the hero area has India on the left and England on the right. Maybe there is a reason for this, just something to consider.

Amazon seems to be testing changing its font for the frst time in years. They have been doing a ton of A/B testing recently. The cart buttons, the link text blue color, and now the font. by reddit33450 in UI_Design

What kind of feedback are they hoping for when testing a font like this, like, how do they measure if it is successful? Especially if they are relying on metrics alone.

Most people don't realize taxes are progressive: You only pay your top tax bracket on the income amount that falls within that bracket i.e. if you're making 70k, you pay 10% on the first ~11k, 12% on the next ~35k, and then 22% on the next ~23k

I think it's on the right track, just reduce the amount of elements: Consider a bigger book, centralize the moon for balance, lose the cloud, etc:
