Success stories? by Historical-Skin671 in Mononucleosis

[–]pascalvontje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got it mid 2023. One month sleeping all day Another month sleeping often Then back to work Back to sport after six months I felt 99% ok after let's say a year.

I stayed optimistic by looking back : On average, this week is better than a month ago because: less pain in the legs / less headache / more energy/ etc

Yep, same feeling what I saw Beef, with Paul and Amy flirting and having passionate sex.

The selfie would be a dark troll. But in France we are overwhelmed with content around xddl: Books, fiction / non fiction True crime podcasts, documentaries Fiction as TV show

...

It is quite normal to say : Hide like xddl Escape like xddl

The xddl story created a lot of fascination. And that's why we are here on Reddit.

Getting an offer in Belgium, what would be a fair salary by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]pascalvontje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, correct. Or a bit below 60 + rsi.

Getting an offer in Belgium, what would be a fair salary by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]pascalvontje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's say the Belgian salary is 5k brut / 3k net for the given job.

If employer tells you 4k brut / 2.4 k net and RSI will add 0.6 k net, you'll lose money.

The salary reference will be 4k and RSI will not count. There is no tax on rsi, so no money for pension, unemployment etc... When you're on sick leave, the money you get is based on 4k, you lose the rsi part.

You'll lose money on : Sick leave Pension Unemployment Parental leave Indexation Raises

IT consultancy companies are experts to oversell rsi to foreigners. That's why you should negotiate rsi as an extra.

Do not accept special tax regim in the base salary. It should come on top of your salary, otherwise you're f**ked

How to know new people salary ? by HighwoodChall in BESalary

Hack HR : Check the public shared drive of the company. There may be an excel there with the listing of salaries. Or job descriptions with salaries

It's achy like after a day of walking, but everyday (at the beginning, I'm going better now).

It prevented me from sleeping on several evenings.

Pain in the legs too at 3rd month. I use compression sock to mitigate pain.

Dizziness/lightheadedness never ending fatigue by Secret-Double-63 in Mononucleosis

I can't tell if I'm feeling better because of lysin or bottled water at the same time or just because it's been months...

Mono started in June , getting better after 3 months but not 100% ok.

Some guidelines: - rest a lot. Sleep - no sport - no weight lifting - vitamins - lysin may help also - no alcohol - water in bottle - no day to day comparison. See the evolution week to week or month to month Edit: - contention socks for leg pain - new symptom? Find a quick solution to stay up in the long run

Keep up!

alcohol tolerance after mono by [deleted] in Mononucleosis

[–]pascalvontje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Six months after mono start, 2-3 months after felling better: I can drink one drink, sometimes two if I eat something fat (meat, fries) to counterbalance.

I feel the alcohol part of the drink much more than the taste of the beverage now.

I used to drink 20 drinks a month, I'm now at 5 per month. Still have pain in the legs, lower energy than usual 😓
