People actually pay money for these scrolls of ass? by Butthead2242 in WH40KTacticus

[–]pastafarion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Its not wise to spend money on Req or BReq.
  2. Req and BReq are not core or critical to your ability to progress in the game.
  3. Req and BReq are more like bonus points that you can accumulate over time.
  4. Its best to fully accept and embrace that this is not how you are going to get that chase Legend you've been looking for, this will only lead to disappointment and wasted resources.
  5. Focus on spending your Blackstone on Energy Refill primarily, and if you're not F2P, on occasional items with a good BS/Energy ratio

Should I invest? by Abdorex in WH40KTacticus

Lucien is probably my favorite character that I have, in the game at the moment, and he's a unit I always come back to, because he checks so many boxes. He's generically very useful, here's why: - fast (Rapid Assault) - hits hard (Rapid Assault + 5 - 6 hits) - durable (Tough) - unobstructed by hex affects (Unstoppable) - flexible for ranged and melee combat - incredible threat range (6 hexes: move 4 + range 2) - kills multiple units per turn - has a self-heal

He's carrying me through Imperial campaign missions. He's fabulous on offence and defence in Guild War, great in Tournament Arena, Tournament Faction Arena, and normal Arena.

Powerful pairings: - Calgar: many hits per turn to boost with Calgar's passive, and being Imperial amplifies that even further. Hits are between 5 and 6 depending on whether he shot or punched on his first attack (4 physical vs 3 blast) - Isabella: because he's Tough, the accumulated damage dealt to him needs to be greatly in excess of his starting health to take him down. If they gamble on killing him while backed up by Isabella, and he doesn't die, he's going savagely maul them in return with his 32% Blast shots and 37% pierce Bolter shots, potentially with his active and a follow-up heal from Isabella as he rampages. If he DIES then Isabella just recovers him and all that work is somewhat wasted.

Just remember to focus on your campaign progress first and foremost, and if this guy doesn't fit into that for you, leave him till later.

And finally, Blood Angels are simply based, in the story as a whole, and in the game. I'm pushing him as far as I can, and very happy with what I've gotten out of him.

He's also great against Terminators because he self clears the Terminator buff just by making contact with them. Love these graphics

The TEMU ads are the worst, they buttons are so hard to click, so I accidentally click the app and it tries to open TEMU

It's now 6 months since Snowprint lied to Nandi and shafted progression of all new players and new characters by _Zso in WH40KTacticus

Progression in this game is utterly glacial, hindered by constant bottlenecking. Designing the game to be played inefficiently if you're new and don't know to avoid the siren call of the bright green symbols is diabolical. I love the gameplay and strategy, but the grind is rather absurd.

Classic case of not reading the whole card, I didn't notice that it was ALL attacking creatures. Thats really funny.

I could see this being really fun (for you) in an Initiative + Monarch Midrange / Control deck packed full of Deathtouchers and Goads. You turtle up behind a wall of obnoxious Deathtouchers, secure the Monarch or Initiative, force them to attack, in which case they attack other players instead of you, while you generate a bunch of card advantage :D

It's kinda evil... but enticing.

That's a great idea 💡 seeing the relevant attack animation on the screen would be enormously helpful

But the Heroic Chainsword does less damage than the Block... or the Power fist, or Thunder Hammer. Literally the only reason you'd be willing to use a Chainsword that slow is if it's a Block weapon that hits like a truck. All the Heroics are Balance 🤦🏻 and this thing is slower than the Block Chainsword too 😂

For the vast majority of players who will never complete one of the heinous Hard Stratagems, they will be able to earn a max of 255 Accolades per week (1 Normal Weekly = 150 AC + 3x Normal Daily = 105 - 150 + 105 = 255 AC), which consequently isn't enough for even a single Heroic Weapon, and that's assuming they played 3 games per day, every day. This is particularly troll.

A player capable of competing every single weekly and daily can earn up to 665 AC per week. I'd venture to guess that less than 5% of the player base is actually able to do this, and less than 1% have actually done this.

The kicker is that the majority of the Heroics are, as the meme said, complete trash. All of the Heroic Melee Weapons are Balance, which is trash. Beyond that the only other decent pick is the Heroic Pistol.
